INTRODUCTION:
Divine empowerment is the supernatural ability and strength that God gives His people to fulfil His purpose, overcome challenges, and manifest His glory. It comes through the Holy Spirit and equips believers with spiritual, physical, and mental capacity beyond human limitations. This teaching explores the nature of divine empowerment, how to access it, and its impact on our lives and ministries.

1. THE NATURE OF DIVINE EMPOWERMENT

a) It is Spiritual:
Empowerment comes primarily from the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8).

b) It is Transformational:
It changes weakness into strength and fear into boldness (Isaiah 40:29).

c) It is Unlimited:
God’s empowerment is not restricted by human capacity (Ephesians 3:20).

d) It is Purpose-Driven:
God empowers His people to accomplish His divine purpose (Jeremiah 1:5-10).

Gideon, though timid, was empowered by God to lead Israel to victory (Judges 6:12-16).

2. CHANNELS OF DIVINE EMPOWERMENT

Paul, despite his limitations, achieved great exploits through divine empowerment (Philippians 4:13).

4. KEYS TO ACCESSING DIVINE EMPOWERMENT

a) Faith in God:
Believing in God’s ability is key to receiving His power (Mark 11:22-24).

b) Dependence on the Holy Spirit:
Yielding to the Spirit’s leading opens the door to empowerment (Galatians 5:16).

c) Hunger for God’s Presence:
A thirst for God brings empowerment (Psalm 63:1-2).

d) Obedience to God’s Instructions:
Obedience activates divine strength (Deuteronomy 28:1).

e) Biblical Example:
Elijah’s obedience led to supernatural empowerment during his ministry (1 Kings 18:36-39).
