REMAIN CONNECTED TO GOD'S DIVINE SOURCE

Title: Remaining Connected to God's Divine Source

Text: Philippians 4:19, Jeremiah 17:7-8

INTRODUCTION:
God promised to supply our needs according to His riches in glory. However, this promise is contingent upon our connection to Him. Just like a leaf loses its glory when it drops from the tree, we risk losing God's divine blessings when we disconnect from Him.

I. THE IMPORTANCE OF CONNECTION (Jeremiah 17:7-8)
Jeremiah 17:7-8 - "Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit."

A leaf is glorious while on the tree; the moment it drops, it loses its glory.
A tree brings forth abundant fruit if its roots do not lose contact with the source of water.
- A tree's ability to produce fruit depends on its connection to the source of water
- Similarly, our ability to receive God's blessings depends on our connection to Him

When NEPA cuts the wire that connects electricity to a household, the entire household will lack supply and be in total blackout.

I pray for you and your household today that you will never lose your connection to God's divine source of provision.
You will never lose your grip on God's Divine Grace, Mercy, Favor, and Protection.

II. GOD'S DIVINE PROVISION (Philippians 4:19)

- God shall supply all our needs according to His riches in glory
- This promise is available to those who remain connected to Him.

Philippians 4:19 is a powerful verse that highlights God's divine provision for our lives. Here are some key points to consider:

1. God's promise: "My God shall supply all your need" - This is a direct promise from God, emphasizing His commitment to meeting our needs.

2. According to His riches in glory: God's provision is not based on our own resources or abilities but on His infinite riches and glory.

3. By Christ Jesus: Jesus is the channel through which God's provision flows. Our relationship with Him is crucial for experiencing God's divine provision.

4. All your need: God's provision is comprehensive, covering every aspect of our lives - spiritual, physical, emotional, and financial.

5. Trust and faith: To experience God's divine provision, we must trust in His promise and have faith in His ability to provide.

Remember, God's divine provision is not just about meeting our basic needs but also about empowering us to live a life that honors Him and reflects His glory.

- Psalm 23:1 - "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want."
- 2 Corinthians 9:8 - "And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work."
