SEPTEMBER - MY MONTH OF UNDENIABLE TESTIMONIES

SEPTEMBER - MY MONTH OF  UNDENIABLE TESTIMONIES

By Rev. Samuel Arimoro

Key Text: Psalm 126:1-3
When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dreamed. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with shouts of joy; then they said among the nations, ‘The Lord has done great things for them.’ The Lord has done great things for us; we are glad."

INTRODUCTION:
As we step into the month of September, we declare it as our "Month of Testimonies." A testimony is a public declaration of what God has done, a witness to His goodness, mercy, and power. It is a powerful tool that brings glory to God, encourages others, and defeats the enemy (Revelation 12:11). This month, we expect God to do great and mighty things that will lead to undeniable testimonies in our lives.

1. THE POWER OF TESTIMONIES:
Testimonies are powerful because they remind us of God's faithfulness and His ability to change situations. In the Bible, testimonies often followed a significant act of God, serving as a record of His mighty deeds and a source of encouragement for future generations.

- David’s Testimony:
When David faced Goliath, he testified of God’s past deliverances, saying, “The Lord who delivered me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine” (1 Samuel 17:37). His confidence was rooted in what God had done before, and it became the basis for his victory over Goliath.

2. SEPTEMBER: A MONTH OF DIVINE INTERVENTION
Just like David, our testimonies this month will be born out of divine interventions. We serve a God who specializes in turning situations around, and in September, we believe God will intervene in impossible situations to bring about miracles.

- Example of Hannah:
In 1 Samuel 1, Hannah was barren and ridiculed, but she sought the Lord earnestly. God intervened in her situation, and she testified, "For this child I prayed; and the Lord has granted me my petition which I asked of Him" (1 Samuel 1:27). Her barrenness was turned into fruitfulness, and her sorrow into joy.

3. SEPTEMBER: A MONTH OF SUDDEN TURNAROUNDS
God is a God of sudden turnarounds. He changes situations suddenly to display His power and glory. This month, expect God to turn things around in your favour.

- Example of the Woman with the Issue of Blood:
For twelve years, the woman with the issue of blood had suffered greatly, but her situation turned around suddenly when she touched the hem of Jesus' garment (Mark 5:25-34). She testified before the crowd, and her testimony became a source of hope for others.

4. September: A Month of Open Doors
This month, God will open doors that no man can shut. Doors of favour, healing, restoration, and breakthrough will be opened unto us, leading to testimonies that will shock and inspire many.

- Example of Paul and Silas:
In Acts 16:25-34, Paul and Silas were imprisoned, but as they prayed and sang hymns, God opened the doors of the prison. Their miraculous release led to the salvation of the jailer and his household. It was a testimony of God’s power to save and deliver.

5. HOW TO POSITION YOURSELF FOR TESTIMONIES
   - Pray with Expectation:
James 5:16b tells us that “the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” Just as Hannah prayed with faith and expectation, we must also pray, believing that God will answer.

   - Speak Words of Faith:
Proverbs 18:21 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” Declare this month as your month of testimonies.

   - Obey God’s Instructions:
The widow of Zarephath received her testimony because she obeyed the prophet Elijah’s instructions (1 Kings 17:8-16). Our obedience to God’s Word and promptings can lead to great testimonies.

6. YOUR TESTIMONY WILL ENCOURAGE OTHERS:
Your testimony is not just for you; it is to encourage others and point them to God. When God answers your prayers, do not keep it to yourself. Share your testimony, as it will build the faith of others and bring them closer to God.

- The Testimony of the Blind Man:
In John 9, after Jesus healed the man who was born blind, his testimony, “One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!” (John 9:25), became a powerful witness to the Pharisees and others.

CONCLUSION:
As we journey through this month, let us expect God to move mightily on our behalf. September shall indeed be our "Month of Testimonies." Like the Psalmist in Psalm 126:3, we will declare, “The Lord has done great things for us; we are glad.” Be ready to share your testimony and give God all the glory!

    PRAYER POINTS:
1. Pray for God’s divine intervention in every area of your life that needs a testimony.
2. Declare that this September will be your month of undeniable testimonies.
3. Pray for the grace to remain obedient, faithful, and expectant as God brings about your breakthrough.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS

1. I declare that September is my month of testimonies!  Every day of this month, I will experience the goodness and mercy of God in new and unexpected ways. I shall testify of His greatness in my life!

2. I declare that every closed door is now opened in Jesus' name! Divine opportunities, favour, and breakthroughs are my portion this month. What was impossible in previous months shall become possible now.

3. I declare divine intervention in every situation that seems hopeless! Just as God intervened for Hannah, David, Paul and Silas, I declare that God is turning my situation around for His glory. What was meant for my harm shall be turned into a testimony of God's power.

4. I declare that my enemies shall be confounded by my testimonies! Every plot, scheme, and plan of the enemy against my life and destiny is destroyed. God will prepare a table for me in the presence of my enemies, and my cup shall overflow with blessings.

5. I declare supernatural health and healing over my body, soul, and spirit!  Any form of sickness, disease, or infirmity is cast out in the name of Jesus. I shall testify of divine health this month.

6. I declare that financial breakthroughs are mine in September!  Lack and debt have no place in my life. I receive divine provision, abundance, and financial wisdom to prosper in every area.

7. I declare that my family is blessed, protected, and favoured by God! No weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment is condemned. This is our heritage as servants of the Lord.

8. I declare that I am walking in divine wisdom, understanding, and discernment!  I will make decisions that align with God's will for my life, and my steps are ordered by the Lord.

9. I declare that September is a month of divine speed and acceleration!  What has been delayed, denied, or deferred in my life will be accomplished swiftly by the hand of God. I will recover lost time and opportunities in Jesus' name.

10. I declare that I am a vessel for God’s glory and testimonies! As I testify of God’s goodness, many shall come to know Him, and my life will be a light that shines brightly, drawing others to Christ.

11. I declare that every battle over my life is won in Jesus' name!   I am more than a conqueror through Christ, and I will see the manifestation of God's victory in every area of my life.

12. I declare that my testimony will be complete, perfect, and undeniable!  What God has started in my life, He will complete, and I shall see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

13. I declare that I am stepping into a new season of joy, peace, and rest! Just as the Psalmist said, "The Lord has done great things for us; we are glad," so shall my mouth be filled with laughter and my tongue with songs of joy.
In Jesus' Name, Amen!

DEALING WITH HOUSEHOLD ENEMIES

DEALING WITH HOUSEHOLD
ENEMIES

Text: Micah 7:6, Matthew 10:36

by Rev Samuel Arimoro

INTRODUCTION:
Household enemies are often the most dangerous because they are close to us, know our weaknesses, and can exploit our trust. The Bible highlights the reality of such enemies and provides us with wisdom on how to deal with them. In this sermon, we will explore the nature of household enemies, how they operate, and how to overcome them through the power of God.

1. UNDERSTANDING HOUSEHOLD ENEMIES
   - Definition:
Household enemies refer to those within our family or close circle who act against us, whether out of jealousy, rivalry, or other harmful motives.
   - Biblical Examples:
     - Cain and Abel (Genesis 4:3-8):
The first example of household enmity. Cain, out of jealousy, killed his brother Abel.
     - Joseph and His Brothers (Genesis 37:3-28:
Joseph’s brothers were envious of his dreams and the favour he had with their father, leading them to plot against him.
     - David and His Son Absalom (2 Samuel 15:1-14):
Absalom, driven by ambition and revenge, sought to overthrow his father, King David.
   - Spiritual Implication: Household enemies are often driven by spiritual forces that seek to disrupt God’s plans and purposes for your life.

2. IDENTIFYING HOUSEHOLD ENEMIES
   - Traits and Tactics:

     - Jealousy and Envy:
They are unhappy with your success or blessings (1 Samuel 18:6-9).

     - Betrayal:
They may act as friends or allies but secretly plot against you (Psalm 41:9).

     - Sowing Discord:
They create division and strife within the family or close circle (Proverbs 6:16-19).

   - Discernment:
Ask God for the discernment to identify household enemies without becoming paranoid or distrustful of everyone around you.

3. DEALING WITH HOUSEHOLD ENEMIES
   - Prayer and Fasting:

     - Seek God’s Protection:
Pray for God’s protection and guidance (Psalm 91:1-16).

     - Spiritual Warfare:
Engage in spiritual warfare, recognizing that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces (Ephesians 6:12).

   - Forgiveness and Wisdom:

     - Forgive Them:
Even though they may have wronged you, forgive them as Christ commands (Matthew 6:14-15).
     - Be Wise:
Jesus advised His disciples to be "wise as serpents and harmless as doves" (Matthew 10:16). This means being cautious and prudent in dealing with household enemies.
   - Trust in God’s Justice:

     - Vengeance Belongs to God:
Do not take matters into your own hands; trust that God will bring justice in His time (Romans 12:19).

     - God’s Plan Prevails:
No matter how much household enemies plot against you, God’s plan for your life will prevail if you remain faithful to Him (Genesis 50:20).

4. OVERCOMING HOUSEHOLD ENEMIES

   - Stay Focused on Your Purpose:
Like Joseph, despite the opposition, stay focused on God’s calling for your life (Genesis 50:20).

   -Walk in Love:
Overcome evil with good by continuing to walk in love, even toward those who oppose you (Romans 12:21).

   - Divine Intervention:
Pray for God’s intervention, as He can turn the hearts of your enemies or remove them from your life (Proverbs 16:7).

CONCLUSION:
Household enemies can be a significant challenge, but through prayer, wisdom, and trust in God, we can overcome them. Remember that God is your protector and avenger. Stay focused on His promises, and let Him handle the battles you face within your household. Ultimately, God will turn what the enemy meant for evil into something good in your life.

WHEN GOD REMEMBERS YOU

WHEN GOD REMEMBERS YOU

Text: Genesis 8:1; Exodus 2:24; 1Samuel 1:19; Luke 23:43

By Rev. Samuel Arimoro

INTRODUCTION:
Today, we are going to delve into the powerful and comforting truth found in the Bible that when God remembers you, amazing things happen. We will explore what it means for God to remember us, how His remembrance can impact our lives, and the biblical examples that illustrate this truth.

I. GOD'S FAITHFUL REMEMBRANCE
- Genesis 8:1 - "But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the ark, and he sent a wind over the earth, and the waters receded."
    - Here we see God's faithfulness in remembering Noah in the midst of the great flood. Even in the darkest times, God's remembrance brings deliverance and restoration.

- Exodus 2:24 - "God heard their groaning and he remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac and with Jacob."
    - The Israelites were in slavery in Egypt, but God's remembrance of His covenant with their forefathers brought about their deliverance through Moses.

II. GOD'S INTENTIONAL REMEMBRANCE
- 1 Samuel 1:19 - "Early the next morning they arose and worshipped before the Lord and then went back to their home at Ramah. Elkanah made love to his wife Hannah, and the Lord remembered her."
    - Hannah longed for a child and, in due time, God remembered her and blessed her with a son, Samuel.

- Luke 23:42-43 - "Then he said, 'Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.' Jesus answered him, 'Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.'"
    - Even in His suffering on the cross, Jesus remembered the repentant criminal and promised him salvation.

III. OUR RESPONSE TO GOD'S REMEMBRANCE
- Psalm 77:7-9 - "Will the Lord reject forever? Will he never show his favour again? Has his unfailing love vanished forever? Has his promise failed for all time?"
    - In times of doubt and despair, we may question God's remembrance of us. But we must hold firm to His promises and trust in His faithfulness.

- Hebrews 6:10 - "God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them."
    - Our faithfulness and service to God and others are not forgotten. God sees and remembers our efforts, and He will reward us in His perfect timing.

CONCLUSION:
When God remembers you, He brings deliverance, blessing, and fulfilment of His promises. Let us take comfort in knowing that God's remembrance is a sign of His love, faithfulness, and sovereignty over our lives. May we trust in His perfect timing and continue to serve Him faithfully, knowing that He never forgets His children.

DIVINE TIMING

Title: DIVINE TIMING
Text: Ecclessiates 3:1

By Rev. Samuel Arimoro

INTRODUCTION:
In the hustle and bustle of life, we often find ourselves in a rush, trying to make things happen in our own time. However, the Bible teaches us that God’s timing is always perfect. Divine timing refers to the belief that God has a specific time for everything in our lives. Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us, "To everything, there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven." Today, we will explore the importance of trusting God’s timing and the blessings that come when we wait on Him.

1. THE EXAMPLE OF ABRAHAM AND SARAH:  TRUSTING GOD'S PROMISE Abraham and Sarah's story is a profound example of divine timing. God promised Abraham that he would be the father of many nations, but this promise didn’t come to pass immediately. In Genesis 12:2, God promises, "I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you." However, it wasn’t until many years later, when Abraham was 100 years old and Sarah was 90, that Isaac was born (Genesis 21:1-2).Despite their initial doubts and even attempts to fulfil God's promise in their way, such as through Hagar (Genesis 16), God fulfilled His promise at the appointed time. This story teaches us that even when it seems like time is running out, God’s timing is always perfect.

2. THE ISRAELITES IN EGYPT: DELIVERANCE AT THE RIGHT TIME
The Israelites spent 400 years in bondage in Egypt, and it must have seemed like God had forgotten them. But in Exodus 3:7-8, God says to Moses, "I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. So I have come down to rescue them.
"God’s timing in delivering the Israelites was not random. He had a specific plan and time in mind. The deliverance came when the time was right, when Moses was prepared and the conditions were set for the Israelites to be freed. Sometimes, God delays our deliverance to prepare us or the circumstances around us for a greater purpose.

3. JOSEPH: FROM THE PIT TO THE PALACE
Joseph’s life is another powerful example of divine timing. Sold into slavery by his brothers and later imprisoned, it seemed like Joseph’s life was going in the wrong direction. However, in Genesis 50:20, Joseph declares, "You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives."Joseph’s rise to power in Egypt came at the perfect time. Had he not been in the position he was in, Egypt and his family might have perished in the famine. Joseph’s story reminds us that God’s timing is often beyond our understanding, but it is always for a greater purpose.

4. JESUS CHRIST: THE FULFILLMENT OF TIME
The coming of Jesus Christ is the ultimate example of divine timing. Galatians 4:4-5 says, "But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship."Jesus came at the perfect time in history, fulfilling prophecies and bringing salvation to humanity. His life, death, and resurrection were all perfectly timed in God’s divine plan. This shows us that God’s timing is not just about individual moments but is woven into the fabric of history for the fulfilment of His purpose.

5. WAITING ON GOD'S TIMING:
A CALL TO PATIENCE
The Bible encourages us to wait on the Lord. Isaiah 40:31 declares, "But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint." Waiting on God’s timing requires patience and trust, knowing that He sees the bigger picture. When we try to rush God’s timing, we can end up with less than what He intended for us. But when we wait, we receive His best. Psalm 27:14 says, "Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."

CONCLUSION:
Divine timing is not always easy to understand, but it is always perfect. The lives of Abraham and Sarah, the Israelites, Joseph, and the coming of Jesus Christ all teach us the importance of trusting God’s timing. We may not always see it, but God is always at work, orchestrating everything according to His perfect plan. As we close, let us commit to trusting in God’s timing for our lives. Let us wait on Him, knowing that His plans for us are good and that He will bring them to pass in His perfect time. Remember, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 ). Prayer:Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your perfect timing. Help us to trust in Your plans for our lives and to wait patiently for Your promises to be fulfilled. Give us the strength to remain faithful as we wait on You. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

SEASON OF DIVINE FAVOUR

Title:   SEASON OF DIVINE FAVOUR

Text: Isaiah 61:1-3, Luke 4:18-19

By Rev. Samuel Arimoro

INTRODUCTION:
Every believer desires to experience the divine favor of God—a supernatural grace that opens doors, elevates, and brings about blessings beyond human effort. A "Season of Divine Favour" is a time when God’s blessings are poured out abundantly, and His presence is evident in every aspect of our lives. This sermon will explore the nature of divine favor, how it manifests, and how we can position ourselves to walk in it.

1. UNDERSTANDING DIVINE FAVOUR

Definition of Divine Favour
     - Divine favor is the unmerited grace and kindness that God bestows upon His children. It is not earned by works but is a gift from God, often leading to extraordinary outcomes.
     - Biblical Example:
Joseph’s journey from the pit to the palace (Genesis 39:2-4). Despite the challenges, the Lord was with Joseph, and he found favor in the eyes of those around him, leading to his promotion.

Characteristics of Divine Favour:
     - It brings supernatural promotion and recognition (Esther 2:17).
     - It shields and protects (Psalm 5:12).
     - It grants access to opportunities (Nehemiah 2:4-8).

2.  SIGNS OF A SEASON OF DIVINE FAVOUR

   Unusual Doors Open:
     - When God’s favor is upon you, doors that were once shut begin to open. These are doors of opportunity, influence, and blessings.
     - Example:
Nehemiah found favor before the king, which led to the rebuilding of Jerusalem’s walls (Nehemiah 2:1-8).

   Accelerated Progress:
     - Things that normally take years to accomplish happen quickly under divine favor.
     - Example:
In one day, Joseph went from a prisoner to the prime minister of Egypt (Genesis 41:39-41).

   - Divine Connections:
     - God connects you with people who have the power to help you fulfill your destiny.
     - Example:
Ruth found favour with Boaz, which eventually led to her becoming part of the lineage of Christ (Ruth 2:10-13).

3. POSITIONING YOURSELF FOR DIVINE FAVOUR

   - Obedience to God:
     - Obedience is a key to accessing divine favor. When we walk in obedience, we align ourselves with God’s plans, and His favor follows.

     - Scripture:
Isaiah 1:19 – "If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land."

   - Living a Life of Righteousness:
     - God’s favor rests upon those who walk in righteousness and integrity.
     - Scripture:
Proverbs 12:2 – "A good man obtains favor from the Lord."

   - Faith and Expectation:
     - Faith is the currency that activates divine favor. When we expect God’s favour, we position ourselves to receive it.
     - Scripture:
Hebrews 11:6 – "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him."

   - Gratitude and Praise:
     - A heart of gratitude and continual praise keeps us in a place of favor. Thanksgiving magnifies what God has done and invites more of His blessings.
     - Scripture:
Psalm 67:5-7 – "Let the peoples praise You, O God; let all the peoples praise You. Then the earth shall yield her increase; God, our own God, shall bless us."

CONCLUSION:
As we enter into this season of divine favor, let us remain aligned with God’s will, walk in obedience, and keep our faith and expectations high. God’s favor is available to all who seek Him with a pure heart. When His favor rests upon you, no obstacle can stand in your way, and every barrier will be broken. Embrace this season with confidence, knowing that the favor of God will lead you into greater heights and deeper blessings.

TEN TIMES BETTER

TOPIC: TEN TIMES BETTER
TEXT: Daniel 1:8-16

INTRODUCTION
Welcome to today's sermon, "Ten Times Better"! We're exploring the story of Daniel and his friends, who dared to trust God amid challenging circumstances. Despite being surrounded by a culture that didn't share their values, they chose to obey God and trust in His provision.

As we delve into their story, we'll discover four key principles that enabled them to become "ten times better" in various areas of their lives. These principles will encourage and empower us to do the same, even in the face of adversity.

So, let's dive in and learn from Daniel and his friends how to:

1. Resolve to obey God, no matter the cost
2. Trust in God's provision, even when it seems impossible
3. Become "ten times better" in wisdom, knowledge, and physical health
4. Stand out in a crowd, shining as beacons of God's light

Get ready to be inspired and challenged to become "ten times better" in your own life!

I.   RESOLVING TO OBEY GOD (DANIEL 1:8-16)

Daniel and his friends made a conscious decision to obey God, despite the pressure to conform to the king's demands. They:

1. Refused to compromise their values (Daniel 1:8)
2. Asked for permission to follow their convictions (Daniel 1:11-13)
3. Trusted God for the outcome (Daniel 1:14-16)

A.   Biblical examples of resolving to obey God:

1. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego (Daniel 3:1-30) - refused to worship the king's idol
2. Peter and John (Acts 4:1-22) - continued to preach despite being forbidden by the authorities
3. Noah (Genesis 6:1-22) - obeyed God's instructions to build the ark, despite ridicule and opposition

B.    Key takeaways:

1. Obedience to God requires courage and conviction
2. Trusting God's sovereignty and provision is essential
3. Compromising our values can lead to spiritual compromise

C   Questions for reflection:

1. What are some areas where you feel pressured to compromise your values?
2. How can you resolve to obey God in those areas?
3. What are some examples of times when you trusted God and saw His provision?

II.     TRUSTING GOD'S PROVISION (Daniel 1:11-14)

Daniel and his friends trusted God to provide for their needs, and He did! They:

Title: THE GOD OF SUPERNATURAL SUPPLY

Text: Matthew 14:13-21

INTRODUCTION

Supernatural supply refers to the provision or supply of needs, resources, or blessings that exceed natural or human capabilities, and can only be attributed to divine intervention or God's supernatural power.
In the context of Christianity, supernatural supply is often associated with God's provision for His people, as seen in the Bible. It involves:
1. Unexpected and miraculous provision
2. Exceeding natural resources or abilities
3. Meeting needs in unexpected ways
4. Demonstrating God's power and love
5. Encouraging faith and trust in God

- We serve a God who is capable of doing the impossible.
- He is the God of supernatural supply, providing for our needs in miraculous ways.

Supernatural supply is not limited to physical needs but also includes emotional, spiritual, and financial provision. It is a demonstration of God's care, love, and sovereignty in the lives of His people

WHO IS THE GOD OF SUPERNATURAL SUPPLY

The God of Supernatural Supply:
1.  He provides for our physical needs (Matthew 14:13-21, Feeding the 5,000).
2.   He provides for our emotional needs (Psalm 23:4, comfort in times of trouble).

- Multiplies resources (1 Kings 17:8-16, 2 Kings 4:1-7)

- Opens doors of opportunity (Revelation 3:7-8)

- Meets our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19)

He is our Shepherd, Provider, and Savior, who supplies all our needs supernaturally.

PRINCIPLES OF SUPERNATURAL SUPPLY:

1. Faith: Trusting God as our provider (Hebrews 11:6).

2. Obedience: Following God's leading and commands (John 14:15).

YOUR SUCCESS WILL TERRIFY YOUR ENEMIES

TITLE: YOUR SUCCESS WILL TERRIFY YOUR ENEMIES

Text 1 Samuel 18:6-15:

INTRODUCTION:

- Success is not just about achieving our goals, but also about the impact it has on those around us.
- In 1 Samuel 18:6-15, we see how David's success terrified his enemy, King Saul.
- Today, we'll explore how our success can terrify our enemies and what we can learn from David's example.

DAVID'S SUCCESS (1 Samuel 18:6-15)

- David's victory over Goliath brought him great success and recognition.
- The women sang his praises, and Saul became increasingly jealous and afraid.
- Despite Saul's attempts to harm him, David continued to succeed and prosper.

BIBLICAL EXAMPLES:

2Daniel (Daniel 6:1-28): His success in the Babylonian court terrified his enemies, who plotted against him.

3. Jesus (John 15:18-25): His success and popularity terrified His enemies, who plotted against Him and eventually crucified Him.

8.  Paul  (Acts 13:1-52, 16:16-34, 19:1-41): Paul's success in preaching the Gospel and performing miracles terrified the Jewish leaders and pagans.

These examples demonstrate how success can terrify enemies, but also how God can use that success to further His purposes and bring glory to Himself.

PRINCIPLES FOR TERRIFYING OUR ENEMIES

1. Stay Focused on God: David's success was due to his focus on God and His purposes.

4. Don't Let Fear Hold You Back: David didn't let fear hold him back from achieving his goals.
5. Give God the Glory: David gave God the glory for his success, recognizing that it was God who had enabled him.

CONCLUSION

ARISE AND SHINE

Title: Arise and Shine: Embracing God's Light in a Dark World

Introduction:
Good morning, beloved congregation. Today, we will be delving into the powerful message found in Isaiah 60:1 - "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you." This verse is a call to action for us as believers to rise up, shine brightly, and embrace the light of God's glory in a world that can often feel dark and challenging.

Body:

1. The Call to Arise: The world we live in can be filled with darkness - confusion, despair, and challenges can sometimes overshadow the light of God. However, Isaiah reminds us that we are not meant to succumb to this darkness. We are called to rise up, to stand firm in our faith, and to not let the troubles of this world bring us down.

2. The Call to Shine: As we rise, we are called to shine. What does it mean to shine? It means to let the light of God's love, grace, and truth radiate through us. When we shine, we become beacons of hope and inspiration to those around us. Our actions, words, and attitudes can make a significant impact on others, guiding them towards the light of God.

3. Your Light Has Come: The verse reminds us that our light has come - the light of God's glory is within us. We do not have to rely on our own strength or abilities to shine. It is the light of God within us that empowers us to overcome darkness and to be a light to others. We are reminded that we are children of the light, and we have a divine purpose to fulfill in this world.

4. The Glory of the Lord Rises Upon You: As we embrace the call to arise and shine, we are promised that the glory of the Lord will rise upon us. This is a powerful assurance that God's presence, power, and favor are with us as we step out in faith and obedience. We can take comfort in knowing that we are never alone, and that God's light will always guide us on our journey.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, the message of Isaiah 60:1 is a reminder to all believers to embrace the light of God's glory, to rise above the darkness of this world, and to shine brightly for all to see. As we go forth from this place today, let us remember our calling to be lights in a dark world, to bring hope, love, and truth to a world in need. Let us embrace the light of God within us and let it shine brightly for His glory.

May we all arise and shine, for our light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon us. Amen.

I. THE NEED FOR RESTORATION:
In our lives, we often face seasons of brokenness, loss, and despair. REMAIN CONNECTED TO GOD'S DIVINE SOURCE

Title: Remaining Connected to God's Divine Source

Text: Philippians 4:19, Jeremiah 17:7-8

INTRODUCTION:
God promised to supply our needs according to His riches in glory. However, this promise is contingent upon our connection to Him. Just like a leaf loses its glory when it drops from the tree, we risk losing God's divine blessings when we disconnect from Him.

I. THE IMPORTANCE OF CONNECTION (Jeremiah 17:7-8)
Jeremiah 17:7-8 - "Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit."

A leaf is glorious while on the tree; the moment it drops, it loses its glory.
A tree brings forth abundant fruit if its roots do not lose contact with the source of water.
- A tree's ability to produce fruit depends on its connection to the source of water
- Similarly, our ability to receive God's blessings depends on our connection to Him

When NEPA cuts the wire that connects electricity to a household, the entire household will lack supply and be in total blackout.

I pray for you and your household today that you will never lose your connection to God's divine source of provision.
You will never lose your grip on God's Divine Grace, Mercy, Favor, and Protection.

II. GOD'S DIVINE PROVISION (Philippians 4:19)

- God shall supply all our needs according to His riches in glory
- This promise is available to those who remain connected to Him.

Philippians 4:19 is a powerful verse that highlights God's divine provision for our lives. Here are some key points to consider:

1. God's promise: "My God shall supply all your need" - This is a direct promise from God, emphasizing His commitment to meeting our needs.

2. According to His riches in glory: God's provision is not based on our own resources or abilities but on His infinite riches and glory.

3. By Christ Jesus: Jesus is the channel through which God's provision flows. Our relationship with Him is crucial for experiencing God's divine provision.

4. All your need: God's provision is comprehensive, covering every aspect of our lives - spiritual, physical, emotional, and financial.

5. Trust and faith: To experience God's divine provision, we must trust in His promise and have faith in His ability to provide.

Remember, God's divine provision is not just about meeting our basic needs but also about empowering us to live a life that honors Him and reflects His glory.

- Psalm 23:1 - "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want."
- 2 Corinthians 9:8 - "And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work."

III. CONSEQUENCES OF DISCONNECTION

- Losing grip on God's divine grace, mercy, favor, and protection
- Missing out on His divine blessings and provisions

Consequences of disconnection from God's divine source of provision and guidance:

1. Spiritual Dryness: Feeling empty, distant, and disconnected from God.

2. Lack of Direction: Unclear purpose, confusion, and poor decision-making.

3. Emotional Turmoil: Anxiety, fear, worry, and instability.

4. Physical Consequences: Fatigue, stress, and potential physical harm.

5. Financial Struggles: Insufficient resources, debt, and financial insecurity.

6. Strained Relationships: Conflicts, misunderstandings, and disconnection from loved ones.

7. Missed Opportunities: Failing to recognize and seize God-given opportunities.

8. Reduced Fruitfulness: Decreased productivity, effectiveness, and impact.

9. Vulnerability to Enemy's Attacks: Increased susceptibility to temptation, sin, and spiritual attacks.

10. Loss of Joy and Peace: Feeling unfulfilled, restless, and without joy or peace.

Remember, disconnection from God's divine source can have far-reaching consequences. Reconnection and maintaining a strong relationship with Him is crucial for experiencing His divine provision and guidance.

Additional scriptural references:

- Psalm 107:17-20 - Consequences of turning away from God.
- Isaiah 59:1-2 - Separation from God due to sin.
- Luke 15:11-24 - The parable of the prodigal son, illustrating disconnection and reconnection with God.

IV. CULTIVATING A STRONG CONNECTION

1. Regular Prayer: Consistent communication with God, sharing thoughts, feelings, and desires.

2. Bible Study: Immersing yourself in God's Word, learning, and applying His truths.

3. Worship and Praise: Expressing gratitude and adoration through music, song, and thanksgiving.

4. Fellowship: Building relationships with believers, supporting and encouraging one another.

5. Service: Serving others, using your gifts and talents to glorify God.

6. Solitude and Silence: Spending quiet time with God, listening and reflecting.

7. Gratitude and Thanksgiving: Focusing on God's blessings, expressing thanks.

8. Forgiveness and Humility: Letting go of pride, seeking forgiveness, and embracing humility.

9. Obedience and Surrender: Submitting to God's will, obeying His commands.

10. Perseverance and Patience: Trusting God's timing, enduring challenges with faith.

Remember, cultivating a strong connection with God requires effort, dedication, and a willingness to grow. By prioritizing these practices, you'll deepen your relationship with Him and experience His divine provision and guidance.

Additional scriptural references:

- John 15:4-5 - Abiding in Christ.
- Psalm 119:105 - God's Word as a lamp to guide.
