INTRODUCTION:
Integrity is the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles. In today’s world of compromise and moral decay, God is still searching for men who will stand for truth, righteousness, and godliness. Proverbs 20:7 says, “The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.” Integrity is not perfection—it is consistency in character even when no one is watching.

1. JOSEPH – INTEGRITY IN TEMPTATION (GENESIS 39:7-12)

a) Refused to Sin Against God
Joseph said, “How can I do this great wickedness and sin against God?” He feared God more than man.

b) Chose Righteousness Over Pleasure
He rejected temporary pleasure to preserve eternal honour.

c) Maintained Purity Despite Isolation
In a strange land, without parental supervision, he still chose godliness.

d) Suffered for His Integrity
He was imprisoned for doing what was right, not for doing wrong.

2. DANIEL – INTEGRITY IN PRAYER AND CONVICTION (DANIEL 6:1-28)

a) Blameless in Administration
No corruption or negligence could be found in him. (Daniel 6:4)

b) Consistent in Private Devotion
He prayed three times daily, as was his custom—even when it became illegal.

c) Chose Loyalty to God Above Comfort
He risked death rather than compromise his faith.

d) God Honoured His Integrity
God shut the lions' mouths and promoted him further.

3. JOB – INTEGRITY IN ADVERSITY (JOB 1–2)

a) Blameless and Upright Before God
God Himself testified of Job’s integrity (Job 2:3).

b) Refused to Curse God
Even in deep loss, Job remained faithful.

c) Held to Integrity Despite Criticism
His wife and friends misunderstood him, but he stayed true.

d) Rewarded in the End
God restored him double for all he lost (Job 42:10).

4. SAMUEL – INTEGRITY IN LEADERSHIP (1 SAMUEL 12:1-5)

a) Transparent and Accountable
Samuel publicly asked Israel to testify if he had defrauded anyone.

b) Fear of God Over Popularity
He told the truth whether people liked it or not.

c) Faithful from Youth to Old Age
A lifetime of integrity that stood the test of time.

d) A Model for Today’s Leaders
Leadership without integrity is manipulation.

5. NEHEMIAH – INTEGRITY IN PUBLIC SERVICE (NEHEMIAH 5:14-19)

a) Refused to Exploit the People
He did not take the governor’s allowance.

b) Led by Example in Generosity
Fed others at his own expense.

c) Feared God More Than Tradition
Integrity ruled his decisions.

d) Worked for People, Not Personal Gain
His heart was for the welfare of the people.

CONCLUSION:
Integrity is not an option; it is a demand from heaven. It is the foundation of lasting influence and divine favour. God is looking for men who will walk uprightly, speak the truth in their hearts, and keep their word. Your integrity may cost you, but it will ultimately crown you. Let your character reflect Christ in a corrupt generation.
