BACK TO SENDER: THE GOD WHO FIGHTS FOR HIS OWN

INTRODUCTION:
We live in a world where not everyone is happy about your existence or progress. Some people smile in public but plot death in secret. Some dig pits, lay traps, and conjure death arrows. But we serve a God who does not sleep nor slumber—the One who is mighty in battle and causes evil plans to backfire.

When we say “Back to Sender,” it is not a mere chant—it is a spiritual stand where the righteous invoke God’s justice to turn the tide against unrepentant enemies. The Bible is filled with cases where evil plans were reversed and the enemies fell into their own traps. Today, God will turn your battle around and make your enemies pay for their evil plans!

1. THE WICKED DIG PITS, BUT THEY SHALL FALL INTO THEM

a) Evil intentions have consequences (Proverbs 26:27)
The Bible says, “He that digs a pit shall fall into it.” This is divine justice. Those plotting your downfall have dug their own grave.

b) Enemies don’t just plan; they execute wickedness (Psalm 35:7-8)
The Psalmist cried out because his enemies set traps for him without cause. But he prayed, and the Lord let the net catch its owner.

c) Back to sender is a cry for divine reversal (Esther 7:10)
Haman built gallows for Mordecai, but it was Haman himself who was hanged there. That is the power of divine reversal.

d) There are secret plans against the righteous (Psalm 64:2-6)
Enemies plan in secret, but God exposes and destroys them openly.

e) Biblical Example: Daniel in the Lion’s Den (Daniel 6:24)
Daniel's enemies conspired to terminate his life, but the lions they prepared for him devoured them and their families instead.

2. THE GOD WHO FIGHTS AND WINS WITHOUT FAIL

a) God is the Man of War (Exodus 15:3)
He does not lose battles. When God steps into your fight, every enemy must scatter.

b) God fights when you commit the battle to Him (Exodus 14:14)
“The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.” Let Him take over!

c) Your attackers are His enemies (Isaiah 49:25-26)
God promises to contend with those who contend with you and save your children.

d) He specialises in backfiring evil plots (Psalm 91:7-8)
The enemy’s judgment will be visible. You will see their destruction while you remain untouched.

e) Biblical Example: Pharaoh and the Red Sea (Exodus 14:28)
The same sea meant to trap and kill the Israelites swallowed Pharaoh and his army. God fought and won.

3. DEATH ARROWS SHALL NOT PROSPER

a) No weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17)
God never promised weapons wouldn’t form, but He guarantees they will not prosper.

b) Demonic arrows can be returned to sender (Psalm 64:7)
God shall shoot at them with His arrow, and suddenly they shall be wounded.

c) Witchcraft assignments must be frustrated (Numbers 23:23)
“There is no enchantment against Jacob.” You are untouchable when covered by God.

d) Premature death is not your portion (Psalm 118:17)
You shall not die but live to declare the works of the Lord!

e) Biblical Example: The Attempt on Elijah’s Life (2 Kings 1:9-12)
When the king sent men to arrest Elijah, fire came down from heaven and consumed the captains and their men—three times! Every force seeking your life will be roasted by fire!

4. THE BLOOD OF JESUS SPEAKS BETTER THINGS

a) The blood is your defence (Hebrews 12:24)
It speaks mercy for you but vengeance on your enemies.

b) It cancels every evil written against you (Colossians 2:14)
Every handwriting of death is blotted out.

c) The blood silences voices of death (Exodus 12:13)
When the blood is seen, the destroyer must pass over.

d) You are hidden in the blood (Revelation 12:11)
You overcome by the blood of the Lamb.

e) Biblical Example: The Passover Night (Exodus 12:29-30)
The blood on the doors of the Israelites preserved them, but Egypt cried as their firstborns died.

5. ANGELIC WARFARE AND DIVINE ESCAPE

a) God sends angels to fight for His own (Psalm 34:7)
The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him.

b) You are not alone in this battle (2 Kings 6:16-17)
Elisha’s servant saw heavenly armies surrounding them—greater than the enemy’s.

c) Angels pursue your pursuers (Psalm 35:5-6)
Let the angel of the Lord chase and persecute those who plan to take your life.

d) God delivers His own supernaturally (Psalm 91:11-12)
Angels are commanded to keep you in all your ways.

e) Biblical Example: Peter’s Escape from Death Row (Acts 12:6-11)
Herod planned to kill Peter, but an angel rescued him while Herod later died in disgrace.

CONCLUSION:
You are not helpless. You serve a God who sees all and fights all. No matter who has planned to terminate your life—their plans shall backfire! God is the righteous judge, and He will ensure that your life becomes a testimony and that the wicked fall into their own traps.

Every plot, every incantation, every evil desire, every charm, every grave—they will return to sender! You are covered, defended, and preserved by the Almighty.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. O Lord, fight those who fight against me and destroy their plans.

2. Every arrow of untimely death, go back to sender in Jesus’ name.

3. Powers digging a pit for me, fall into your own trap, in Jesus’ name.

4. Evil altars raised against me, catch fire now!

5. O God of vengeance, arise and judge my enemies by fire.

6. Whoever has vowed I will not live to see next season, die in my place!

7. I cover myself with the blood of Jesus—no weapon shall prosper.

8. Let the angel of the Lord pursue every pursuer of my soul.

9. I cancel every demonic appointment with death over my life.

10. Father, turn every evil prophecy against me into divine promotion.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:

1. You will not die before your time!

2. Every trap set for you shall catch its owner!

3. The Lord will arise and scatter every enemy of your soul!

4. You are untouchable by evil powers!

5. Divine protection shall surround you day and night!

6. Your enemies will fall into the pit they dug for you!

7. You will live to declare the works of the Lord!

8. No enchantment or divination shall prevail against you!

9. You shall escape every plan of the wicked!

10. Your life shall be a testimony of divine deliverance!
