INTRODUCTION:
Life is made up of seasons—some pleasant and others painful. Every believer goes through different phases, including joy and sorrow, abundance and lack, strength and weakness. Yet, God remains the same in all seasons. Trusting Him means believing that He is sovereign and faithful, no matter what the situation looks like.

Many believers struggle to trust God fully during hard times. It's easy to worship when things are good, but true trust is proven when we hold on even in uncertainty and delay. The Bible never promises a life without trials, but it assures us of God's presence in every season.

In every phase of life, God is working out His plan. Trusting Him means resting in His wisdom, even when we don’t understand. When we trust Him, we receive peace, strength, and guidance to navigate every season victoriously.

1. TRUST GOD IN THE SEASON OF WAITING
Waiting is often one of the hardest seasons, but God uses it to build our faith and character.

a) God Has a Perfect Timing
He makes all things beautiful in His time. (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

b) Trusting in Waiting Produces Patience and Maturity
Let patience have her perfect work. (James 1:3–4)

c) Waiting on God Is Never in Vain
Those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength. (Isaiah 40:31)

d) Trust God's Process, Even When It’s Slow
Commit your way to the Lord and trust in Him. (Psalm 37:5)

Biblical Example: Abraham trusted God’s promise for a son and waited patiently until Isaac was born. (Genesis 21:1–2)

2. TRUST GOD IN TIMES OF ADVERSITY
Trials test our trust, but they also refine us.

a) God Is with Us in the Fire
When you pass through the fire, you shall not be burned. (Isaiah 43:2)

b) Adversity Does Not Mean Abandonment
The Lord will not forsake His people. (Psalm 94:14)

c) God Turns Trouble into Testimony
All things work together for good. (Romans 8:28)

d) Trust Leads to Peace in the Storm
You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You. (Isaiah 26:3)

Biblical Example: Joseph trusted God through betrayal, slavery, and imprisonment, and God lifted him to greatness. (Genesis 41:39–41)

3. TRUST GOD IN SEASONS OF ABUNDANCE
In times of plenty, we must remember the Source of our blessings.

a) Recognise God as the Giver of Every Good Thing
Every good gift comes from above. (James 1:17)

b) Stay Humble and Thankful
Beware lest you forget the Lord in your prosperity. (Deuteronomy 8:11–14)

c) Use Your Abundance to Bless Others
It is more blessed to give than to receive. (Acts 20:35)

d) Continue to Trust God, Not Wealth
Those who trust in riches will fall. (Proverbs 11:28)

Biblical Example: David praised God for every victory and acknowledged God’s hand in his success. (2 Samuel 22:1–4)

4. TRUST GOD WHEN THE FUTURE IS UNCERTAIN
The unknown can be frightening, but God holds the future in His hands.

a) Trust God's Plan Even When You Can't See It
Trust in the Lord with all your heart. (Proverbs 3:5–6)

b) God’s Promises Never Fail
He is not a man that He should lie. (Numbers 23:19)

c) Walk by Faith, Not by Sight
We live by faith, not by what we see. (2 Corinthians 5:7)

d) God Controls the Times and Seasons
My times are in Your hands. (Psalm 31:15)

Biblical Example: Esther trusted God and stepped out in faith to save her people. (Esther 4:14–16)

CONCLUSION:
Trusting God in every season means walking with Him through the highs and lows, holding onto His promises regardless of what life brings. It’s about surrendering control and believing that God is wise, loving, and faithful.

No season lasts forever, but God’s presence is constant. As we continue to trust Him, we will experience His faithfulness and see His purpose unfold in every aspect of our lives.
