INTRODUCTION:
In today’s world where corruption, dishonesty, and compromise are prevalent in all spheres of life, God is still calling His people to live with integrity. Integrity means being consistently upright—doing what is right even when no one is watching. It is a character trait that reflects God’s nature and earns the trust of men.

As believers, we are called to be the light in darkness and the salt in a decaying world. Integrity sets us apart and gives us a voice of authority, both before men and before God. The temptation to blend in or lower godly standards is real, but those who stand firm in righteousness will shine like stars.

This sermon will equip us with spiritual understanding and practical truths on how to uphold Christian integrity amidst a corrupt world, drawing from Daniel's example and other scriptural insights.

1. UNDERSTANDING INTEGRITY FROM A BIBLICAL PERSPECTIVE
Christian integrity means aligning one’s actions, words, and motives with God’s standards at all times.

a) Integrity Is Walking Uprightly – Proverbs 10:9
The one who walks with integrity walks securely, but dishonesty leads to exposure.

b) Integrity Reflects God’s Character – Titus 2:7–8
God calls us to show a pattern of good works, sound speech, and moral purity.

c) Integrity Is Consistency in Private and Public – Philippians 2:14–15
Even in a crooked generation, believers must shine without fault.

d) Integrity Commands Respect and Influence – 2 Corinthians 8:21
Doing what is right before God and man builds spiritual credibility.

Biblical Example: Job was described as blameless, upright, and one who feared God and avoided evil (Job 1:1).

2. STANDING FOR TRUTH IN A COMPROMISED ENVIRONMENT
A person of integrity must be willing to stand for the truth regardless of the consequences.

a) Do Not Conform to This World – Romans 12:2
Integrity requires transformation, not conformity to ungodly patterns.

b) Speak the Truth in Love – Ephesians 4:15
Even when the truth is unpopular, it must be spoken with grace and courage.

c) Be Willing to Face Repercussions – Daniel 6:10
Daniel knew the consequences but kept praying to God publicly.

d) Honour God More Than Men – Acts 5:29
When man's law contradicts God’s Word, integrity follows divine instruction.

Biblical Example: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to bow to the golden image even under the threat of fire (Daniel 3:16–18).

3. BUILDING A LIFE OF UNCOMPROMISING CHARACTER
Integrity is not accidental—it is built over time with deliberate choices and spiritual discipline.

a) Let Your Yes Be Yes – Matthew 5:37
Keep your word and follow through on commitments.

b) Avoid Every Form of Deception – Colossians 3:9
Lying or shading the truth erodes moral credibility.

c) Be Accountable to God and Man – Hebrews 13:17
Submitting to spiritual and moral accountability protects your integrity.

d) Guard Your Heart Diligently – Proverbs 4:23
What flows from your heart will determine your integrity.

Biblical Example: Joseph refused to sin with Potiphar’s wife, choosing integrity over momentary pleasure (Genesis 39:7–12).

4. REWARDS OF LIVING WITH INTEGRITY
Though integrity may cost you something in the short term, it brings lasting divine and earthly rewards.

a) Divine Favour and Promotion – Daniel 6:28
Daniel prospered because God honoured his integrity.

b) Peace and Inner Confidence – Psalm 41:12
The upright are upheld by God and preserved in His presence.

c) Influence and Lasting Legacy – Proverbs 20:7
The righteous who walk in integrity leave a blessed legacy for their children.

d) Victory Over Accusation – Psalm 26:1
God defends those who walk in integrity when falsely accused.

Biblical Example: Samuel stood before Israel in his old age and declared that no one could accuse him of wrong (1 Samuel 12:3–5).

CONCLUSION:
Christian integrity is not just about reputation but about being deeply rooted in the truth of God’s Word. It means being the same in the light and in the dark, in church and in the marketplace. God is still looking for men and women like Daniel, Joseph, and Job—who will not compromise their faith for convenience.

In a world that applauds shortcuts and celebrates corruption, integrity remains a powerful witness for Christ. When you walk in integrity, you not only honour God, but you also become a vessel He can trust and use mightily.

Let us make a fresh commitment today to walk in integrity, even if it costs us something, knowing that the God who sees in secret will reward us openly.
