INTRODUCTION:
Faith is the oxygen of the believer’s life. It is through faith we understand, we please God, and we conquer challenges. The lives of Bible heroes were built and propelled by unstoppable faith.
Faith is not just believing in God but trusting Him regardless of the circumstances. True faith defies natural facts and sees what God sees.
To live an unstoppable life, your faith must be active, unwavering, and anchored in the Word of God.
1. FAITH PLEASES GOD
Faith is a divine currency that attracts the favour and presence of God.
a) Faith is required to walk with God (Hebrews 11:6)
You cannot relate with a spiritual God without the spiritual tool of faith.
b) Faith gains God's commendation (Hebrews 11:2)
The elders were approved because they lived lives of confident trust in God's word.
c) Faith opens the heavens for divine manifestation (Mark 11:24)
Whatever you believe and do not doubt will manifest in time.
d) God honours those who walk by faith (Luke 7:9)
Jesus marvelled at great faith, which shows how much God values it.
Biblical Example: Abel’s offering was accepted by faith (Hebrews 11:4)
Abel's faith gave him eternal testimony, even though he died early.
2. FAITH SEES THE INVISIBLE
Faith gives us supernatural vision to see beyond the physical and believe the impossible.
a) Faith operates by spiritual sight (2 Corinthians 5:7)
We walk by faith and not by what our eyes or senses perceive.
b) Faith believes what God says above what man sees (Romans 4:19-21)
Abraham believed despite his old age and Sarah’s barrenness.
c) Faith gives assurance in uncertainty (Hebrews 11:1)
You can hold on to God’s promise even when there's no physical evidence.
d) Faith removes fear and doubt (Isaiah 41:10)
When you believe, fear has no grip on your heart.
Biblical Example: Moses forsook Egypt, seeing the invisible (Hebrews 11:27)
He chose to suffer with God's people rather than enjoy sin's temporary pleasure.
3. FAITH IS PROVEN BY ACTIONS
True faith is never idle. It shows in how we speak, act, and respond to challenges.
a) Faith without works is dead (James 2:17)
Faith must be backed by obedience and corresponding actions.
b) Faith leads to obedience even when it doesn’t make sense (Genesis 22:1-3)
Abraham acted on God’s instruction to sacrifice Isaac without delay.
c) Faith will stretch you beyond your comfort zone (Matthew 14:29)
Peter had to step out of the boat before he could walk on water.
d) God expects visible proofs of our faith (Mark 2:5)
Jesus saw the faith of the men who brought the paralytic.
Biblical Example: The woman with the issue of blood acted in faith (Mark 5:28-29)
She pressed through the crowd and touched Jesus, believing she would be healed.
4. FAITH SPEAKS BOLDLY
Faith expresses itself through our confession and declarations.
a) Faith speaks what it believes (2 Corinthians 4:13)
We believe, therefore we speak in line with our faith.
b) Your mouth is a tool to activate your faith (Proverbs 18:21)
Life and death are in the power of the tongue, especially for the believer.
c) What you say reflects what you believe (Luke 6:45)
Your confession must be consistent with your inner conviction.
d) You must declare God's Word in the face of opposition (Matthew 4:4)
Jesus used the Word in response to every temptation.
Biblical Example: David declared victory before the battle (1 Samuel 17:45-47)
His words of faith preceded his action of faith in defeating Goliath.
5. FAITH PRODUCES UNSTOPPABLE RESULTS
Faith will always produce fruits when it is grounded in God’s Word and sustained in trust.
a) Faith brings victory over the world (1 John 5:4)
No force on earth can stop a believer who is full of faith.
b) Faith provokes divine intervention (Daniel 3:17-18)
The Hebrew boys' faith brought divine appearance in the fire.
c) Faith reverses hopeless situations (Romans 4:17)
God can quicken the dead through faith-filled declarations.
d) Faith attracts God’s miracle-working power (Matthew 9:29)
According to your faith, so shall it be unto you.
Biblical Example: The centurion’s servant was healed by great faith (Matthew 8:10-13)
He believed that Jesus could speak the word only, and it would be done.
CONCLUSION:
Faith is not optional in the life of a believer—it is essential. Without it, we cannot please God or live the victorious life He designed for us.
Choose to feed your faith with the Word, speak it boldly, act upon it, and watch God do the impossible through you.
