DETERMINATION IN MINISTRY

DETERMINATION IN MINISTRY

By Rev. Samuel Arimoro

Main Text: 1 Corinthians 15:58 (KJV)
“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

Supporting Texts: Philippians 3:13-14, Hebrews 12:1-3, Luke 9:62, 2 Corinthians 4:8-10, Galatians 6:9

INTRODUCTION:
Ministry is not a sprint; it is a lifelong race that demands tenacity, focus, and resilience. Many start well in ministry, but only those who endure to the end will be crowned. Determination is the fuel that keeps a minister moving forward despite trials, discouragement, or opposition.

Every great man or woman of God who has left a lasting impact demonstrated unwavering commitment and steadfastness in their calling. Determination in ministry is not just about refusing to quit—it is about pressing forward with purpose and grit, even when the results seem slow or invisible.

The Lord never promised a problem-free ministry, but He promised His presence, grace, and reward for those who endure. This message will equip and inspire you to remain resolute in your divine assignment and to run your race with endurance.

1.   THE CALL TO MINISTERIAL STEADFASTNESS
A true minister must embrace unwavering commitment to the divine assignment.

a) Ministry Requires Consistency
God desires faithful workers who serve consistently, not seasonally (1 Corinthians 4:2).

b) Storms Will Test Your Convictions
Trials and pressures will try to move you, but you must remain rooted (Matthew 7:24-25).

c) Determination Builds Ministerial Character
Refusing to give up cultivates endurance and maturity (James 1:3-4).

d) You Must Resist the Temptation to Quit
The enemy will whisper defeat, but God calls us to stay the course (Galatians 6:9).

Biblical Example: Nehemiah Rebuilding the Wall
Despite ridicule and opposition, Nehemiah refused to stop the work (Nehemiah 6:1-9).

2.   PRESSING ON DESPITE DISCOURAGEMENT
Discouragement is part of ministry, but determination overcomes it.

a) God Strengthens the Determined Heart
When our strength fails, His grace sustains us (2 Corinthians 12:9).

b) Discouragement Often Precedes Breakthrough
Moments of weariness usually precede great victories (Isaiah 40:29-31).

c) Encourage Yourself in the Lord
Like David, strengthen your heart through God’s promises (1 Samuel 30:6).

d) Speak Life Over Your Ministry
Proclaim what God says over your assignment, not what circumstances suggest (Ezekiel 37:4).

Biblical Example: Paul the Apostle
Despite beatings, shipwrecks, and imprisonments, Paul pressed forward (2 Corinthians 11:23-28).

3.   STAYING FOCUSED ON THE GOAL
Determination helps you keep your eyes on the eternal reward.

a) Focus Guards Against Distraction
Many are derailed by lesser things—focus keeps you on track (Philippians 3:13-14).

b) You Were Not Called to Please Men
Ministry becomes difficult when your aim is to please people (Galatians 1:10).

c) Fix Your Eyes on Jesus
He is the model and the rewarder of faithful servants (Hebrews 12:2).

d) There Is a Crown at the End
Endurance leads to eternal honour and reward (2 Timothy 4:7-8).

Biblical Example: Jesus Christ
He endured the cross because of the joy set before Him (Hebrews 12:2).

4.   REFUSING TO BE WEIGHED DOWN BY FAILURE
Every minister will face failure, but determination turns failure into fuel.

a) Failure Is Not Final Unless You Stop Trying
Every failure can become a stepping stone if you rise again (Proverbs 24:16).

b) Learn from Mistakes, Don’t Dwell on Them
Even Peter denied Christ, yet he became a great leader (Luke 22:62; Acts 2:14).

c) The Grace of God Is Greater Than Your Errors
God restores and uses the broken (Romans 8:28).

d) Don’t Let Guilt Kill Your Calling
Receive mercy and move forward (Hebrews 4:16).

Biblical Example: Peter the Apostle
After denying Jesus, he was restored and used mightily by God (John 21:15-19).

5.   MAINTAINING PASSION FOR MINISTRY
Determination must be fed by constant spiritual renewal.

a) Stay in the Word and Prayer
Spiritual fuel is found in communion with God (Joshua 1:8, 1 Thessalonians 5:17).

b) Surround Yourself with the Right People
Encouraging voices strengthen your resolve (Proverbs 13:20).

c) Serve with Joy, Not with Weariness
Joy renews strength in ministry (Nehemiah 8:10).

d) Never Lose Sight of Your First Love
Passion fades when we forget why we started (Revelation 2:4-5).

Biblical Example: Timothy Encouraged by Paul
Paul stirred up the gift in Timothy to reignite his passion (2 Timothy 1:6-7).

CONCLUSION
Ministry demands more than talent, skill, or vision—it demands dogged determination. The journey will not always be easy, but if you remain steadfast, you will see the fruit of your labour. Let nothing move you, for your reward is sure.

Determine today to never give up, no matter the storms that come your way. Your assignment is too important to abandon. God is counting on you, and Heaven is cheering you on.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Lord, give me a heart that will not quit in the face of adversity.
2. Father, increase my strength and passion for the work of the ministry.
3. I reject every spirit of discouragement and defeat in my calling.
4. Lord, help me to keep my eyes fixed on my eternal reward.
5. Empower me to rise again from every failure and setback.
6. Father, ignite fresh fire in my soul for the work You’ve called me to do.
7. I declare that I will finish strong in the name of Jesus.
8. Lord, disconnect me from every voice of distraction or confusion.
9. Let Your joy continually strengthen me in my journey.
10. I receive grace to abound always in Your work, O Lord.

GOD WILL REWARD EVERYONE ACCORDING TO THEIR WORK

GOD WILL REWARD EVERYONE ACCORDING TO THEIR WORK

By Rev. Samuel Arimoro

Main Text: Revelation 22:12
“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.”

Supporting Texts: 1 Corinthians 3:8-15, Galatians 6:7-9, Hebrews 6:10, Matthew 25:14-30

INTRODUCTION:
The work of the Lord is not in vain. Every act of service, no matter how little, is recorded before the throne of God. Our God is a righteous Judge who does not forget the labour of love we show toward His name. He pays attention to our diligence, sincerity, and faithfulness in ministry, service, and daily living.

God’s reward system is not based on popularity, position, or the applause of men, but on faithfulness, consistency, and purity of heart in doing His will. Some may appear successful in the eyes of men, yet they may not receive a reward if their works are not pleasing to God. Others who are unknown to the public may receive great honour in heaven for their faithfulness.

This teaching serves as a reminder that our ultimate reward comes from the Lord. Our motivations must be pure, and our actions must be aligned with His will. Everything we do is being recorded, and the reward is certain—for better or for worse.

1. GOD IS A RIGHTEOUS REWARDER
God will never allow your labour to go unnoticed or unrewarded.

a) God keeps accurate records
Nothing escapes God’s attention—He records every act of faithfulness (Malachi 3:16).

b) God rewards with perfect justice
He judges righteously and gives to each person according to what they deserve (Romans 2:6).

c) God rewards both now and eternally
There are blessings for obedience in this life and crowns in the life to come (Mark 10:29-30).

d) God’s rewards reflect the heart and motive
It is not just what you do, but why and how you do it (1 Corinthians 4:5).

Biblical Example: Cornelius was a devout man whose prayers and almsgiving were remembered before God, and it led to a divine encounter (Acts 10:1-4).

2. OUR WORKS WILL BE TESTED
God will evaluate every man’s work, not just by quantity, but by quality.

a) God will test by fire
Every man’s work will be revealed by fire to show its true nature (1 Corinthians 3:13).

b) Superficial work will be burned
Work done for show or selfish motives will not endure (Matthew 6:1-2).

c) Lasting work will receive a reward
Only works done in obedience and love will stand the test (1 Corinthians 3:14).

d) There is danger of loss
Some will be saved but suffer loss due to worthless works (1 Corinthians 3:15).

Biblical Example: Ananias and Sapphira gave an offering but lied about it, and they received instant judgement instead of reward (Acts 5:1-11).

3. FAITHFULNESS IS THE KEY TO DIVINE REWARD
God is not looking for perfect people, but for faithful servants.

a) Faithfulness over many years is rewarded
Longevity in obedience counts before God (Luke 19:17).

b) Faithfulness in small things matters
God observes how you handle little before entrusting you with much (Luke 16:10).

c) Faithfulness under pressure is pleasing to God
Enduring hardship for the sake of Christ brings great reward (James 1:12).

d) God expects us to finish well
It’s not enough to start strong—you must remain faithful to the end (Matthew 24:13).

Biblical Example: Paul said he had fought the good fight, finished his course, and kept the faith; hence a crown of righteousness awaited him (2 Timothy 4:7-8).

4. EVERYONE WILL BE REWARDED INDIVIDUALLY
God does not reward us in groups—He deals with each person based on their own work.

a) Your reward is personal
You are not judged based on someone else’s effort (Romans 14:12).

b) Responsibility brings accountability
To whom much is given, much is expected (Luke 12:48).

c) There are different crowns for different roles
Crowns are given based on the kind of work and how well it was done (James 1:12, 1 Peter 5:4).

d) Comparison with others is unwise
Do your work faithfully without envying others (2 Corinthians 10:12).

Biblical Example: The parable of the talents shows that each servant was rewarded based on what he was given and how he used it (Matthew 25:14–30).

CONCLUSION:
God is not unrighteous to forget your labour of love. You may not receive applause from men, but heaven is watching. You are not working in vain. Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.

Let your service to God be done with joy, sincerity, and focus on the eternal reward. One day, the Master will return, and He will say, “Well done, good and faithful servant” to those who stayed faithful to the end.

PRAYER POINTS:

1. Lord, help me to serve You faithfully until the end.

2. Father, purify my motives in service and ministry.

3. I refuse to lose my reward through carelessness.

4. Let my work pass the test of fire on the last day.

5. Deliver me from seeking human praise above divine approval.

6. Help me to stay consistent even when no one is watching.

7. I receive grace to finish well and strong.

8. Let my name be written in the book of faithful labourers.

9. Father, reward me according to Your mercy and righteousness.

10. Let my reward bring glory to Your name.

GOD'S WORD FOR YOU TODAY:

1. Your labour shall not be in vain.

2. Heaven is recording your faithfulness.

3. Your secret service shall be openly rewarded.

4. You shall not miss your crown.

5. You will finish your race with joy.

6. The fire of God will not burn up your reward.

7. Every good work you do will return to you in due season.

8. You will stand before the Lord blameless.

9. Divine commendation is your portion.

10. The Lord shall reward you openly in this life and in eternity.

INCREASING CAPACITY FOR ADVANCEMENT

INCREASING CAPACITY FOR ADVANCEMENT

By Rev. Samuel Arimoro

Main Text: Isaiah 54:2-3 (KJV)
"Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left..."

Supporting Texts: 2 Kings 4:1-6, Luke 5:4-7, Proverbs 24:10, 1 Chronicles 4:9-10

INTRODUCTION:
In life and ministry, stagnation is often the result of limited capacity. God’s plan is for His people to constantly advance, expand, and break new grounds. However, advancement in destiny does not come by mere desire; it is the result of intentional preparation and increased capacity. Just as no one pours new wine into old wineskins, God will not release certain dimensions of increase and breakthrough into a vessel that has not been enlarged or prepared.

To advance in life, career, ministry, or spiritual assignment, we must first be stretched. We must embrace growth, renewal of the mind, spiritual fortification, and character development. These things increase our capacity to manage the weight of glory and responsibility that come with advancement.

The future we step into will always be determined by the level of capacity we build today. You do not rise to your dreams; you grow to them. Enlargement must happen internally before it manifests externally. This message calls you to intentionally enlarge your tent, lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes.

1. SPIRITUAL CAPACITY MUST BE ENLARGED
Growth in spiritual depth is essential for sustainable advancement.

a) Intimacy with God is foundational
Without deep communion with God, advancement becomes mere ambition (John 15:5). True progress flows from His presence.

b) A deeper prayer life expands your spiritual stature
Prayer stretches our spiritual muscles and aligns us with divine instruction (Jude 1:20).

c) The Word of God builds spiritual capacity
By feeding daily on God’s Word, we grow strong enough to handle spiritual assignments (Acts 20:32).

d) Fasting and consecration develop spiritual discipline
Discipline deepens your well and increases how much God can entrust to you (Isaiah 58:6–8).

Biblical Example: Jesus in the wilderness (Luke 4:1-14). After forty days of fasting and resisting temptation, His capacity increased, and He returned in the power of the Spirit.

2. MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL CAPACITY IS ESSENTIAL FOR ADVANCEMENT
Without mental and emotional maturity, opportunities will be lost or mismanaged.

a) Renew your mind with God's truth
A transformed mind leads to a transformed life (Romans 12:2).

b) Develop the ability to handle pressure and criticism
Emotional stability helps you maintain focus under adversity (Proverbs 24:10).

c) Build wisdom for decision-making
Advancement requires constant decision-making, and wisdom is the principal thing (Proverbs 4:7).

d) Manage your emotions with maturity
Emotions must be submitted to the Spirit to avoid self-sabotage (Galatians 5:22-23).

Biblical Example: Joseph's emotional maturity in Egypt (Genesis 45:1-15). Despite betrayal, he handled power with forgiveness and wisdom.

3. PHYSICAL AND STRUCTURAL CAPACITY DETERMINES YOUR ROOM FOR MORE
Sometimes, your advancement is limited by your systems and physical structures.

a) Build structures that support growth
God blesses order and systems (Exodus 18:21-23).

b) Prepare room before asking for increase
Like the widow in 2 Kings 4, expansion begins with preparation.

c) Steward your physical health
You need strength and vitality for long-term success (3 John 1:2).

d) Improve your skills and talents
Skill attracts kings and great men (Proverbs 22:29).

Biblical Example: The miraculous draught of fish in Luke 5:4-7. The boat began to sink because the physical capacity was exceeded. More boats had to be called.

4. RELATIONAL CAPACITY OPENS DOORS FOR ADVANCEMENT
God uses people to move us into our next level. The quality of your relationships can determine your speed.

a) Learn to build destiny-enhancing relationships
Association influences elevation (1 Samuel 18:1-5).

b) Honour those God has placed above you
Honour is a ladder for lifting (1 Samuel 2:30).

c) Be teachable and correctable
Growth often comes through mentorship and accountability (Proverbs 9:9).

d) Avoid wrong associations that drain capacity
Bad company corrupts character and aborts destiny (1 Corinthians 15:33).

Biblical Example: Elisha followed Elijah and received a double portion (2 Kings 2:1-15). His connection brought capacity enlargement and generational impact.

5. FINANCIAL CAPACITY MUST BE DEVELOPED TO SUSTAIN ADVANCEMENT
God wants us to prosper, but He also wants us to be able to manage resources responsibly.

a) Embrace kingdom financial principles
Giving, tithing, and stewardship unlock financial grace (Malachi 3:10).

b) Learn financial intelligence and management
Avoid wastage and develop savings and investment habits (Proverbs 21:20).

c) Expect divine provision but prepare for financial discipline
Miracles don’t cancel principles (2 Corinthians 9:8).

d) Use money as a tool, not a master
Money should serve the vision, not derail it (1 Timothy 6:10).

Biblical Example: The feeding of the 5,000 (John 6:5-13). Jesus gathered the fragments after multiplying the loaves—showing prudence even in abundance.

CONCLUSION:
Advancement is not accidental; it is the outcome of intentional preparation and capacity building. The more capacity you develop, the more of God's blessings you can handle. Many times, we are praying for things that we are not yet prepared to carry. God is willing to enlarge you, but you must first enlarge yourself in character, wisdom, strength, and structure.

Don’t settle for smallness when God has destined you to break forth on the right and on the left. The future belongs to those who are prepared. This is your season to stretch—enlarge your tent, lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes. Advancement is coming!

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Lord, increase my spiritual capacity for greater exploits.
2. Father, help me to enlarge my mind and renew my thinking according to Your Word.
3. I receive strength to build the structures needed for my next level.
4. I break free from every limitation that hinders my advancement.
5. Lord, surround me with destiny helpers and divine relationships.
6. I receive the grace for emotional maturity and mental stability.
7. Let every area of my life experience divine enlargement.
8. I receive wisdom for financial growth and management.
9. Lord, teach me to prepare and not just pray.
10. I declare, this is my season of supernatural advancement.

GOD'S WORD FOR YOU TODAY:
1. You are breaking limits and expanding beyond boundaries.
2. Divine enlargement is locating every area of your life.
3. What once limited you shall now become a platform for your elevation.
4. God is stretching your capacity and preparing you for greater glory.
5. Your tent shall not be too small for what God is about to release.
6. You shall be surrounded by strategic helpers and covenant relationships.
7. Every delay in your advancement is turning into divine acceleration.
8. You shall have the strength to carry and sustain the new level.
9. You will not fail under pressure; the grace to stand strong is upon you.
10. Advancement is your portion, and your glory shall not be hidden!

WHAT IS THE LIGHT OF LIFE?

WHAT IS THE LIGHT OF LIFE?

By Rev. Samuel Arimoro

Main Text: John 8:12
"Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."

Supporting Texts: John 1:4-5, Psalm 119:105, Isaiah 60:1-3, 1 John 1:5-7, Matthew 5:14-16

INTRODUCTION:
The concept of "light" in Scripture symbolises clarity, purity, divine presence, guidance, and revelation. Jesus Christ, in declaring Himself as "the Light of the world", offers humanity the ultimate source of truth and spiritual direction. This light is not just for illumination; it is life-giving—hence, “the light of life.”

Walking in the light of life means being delivered from the confusion, deception, and darkness of this world. It implies living with divine clarity and purpose, empowered by the knowledge and presence of Christ. In a world shrouded in moral, spiritual, and emotional darkness, the light of life distinguishes those who are truly following the Master.

This sermon seeks to unveil what the “light of life” is, its significance, and how we can access and walk in it daily. Understanding this truth is essential to living victoriously and fruitfully in Christ.

1. THE LIGHT OF LIFE IS JESUS HIMSELF
Jesus did not merely bring light; He is the Light. Knowing Him is knowing the light of life.

a) Jesus is the embodiment of divine illumination
(John 1:4) — “In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.”

b) Light gives life, and Jesus gives eternal life
(John 10:10) — His light brings abundant life and eternal hope.

c) To follow Christ is to live above the darkness of the world
(John 12:46) — Whoever believes in Him shall not remain in darkness.

d) The light of Jesus exposes truth and destroys deception
(John 3:19-21) — People love darkness because their deeds are evil, but the light reveals all.

Biblical Example: The encounter of Paul on the road to Damascus (Acts 9:1-6). The light from heaven transformed Saul's life, exposing his ignorance and leading him to divine purpose.

2. THE LIGHT OF LIFE GIVES SPIRITUAL DIRECTION
The light of life is not just for revelation but for direction and purpose.

a) God's Word is a lamp and a light for our paths
(Psalm 119:105) — It prevents us from stumbling into destruction.

b) Those who walk in the light do not walk aimlessly
(Isaiah 30:21) — “This is the way, walk in it…”

c) Walking in the light helps us make godly decisions
(Proverbs 3:5-6) — When we acknowledge God, His light guides our choices.

d) The light gives clarity in confusing seasons
(Psalm 43:3) — “Send out thy light and thy truth…”

Biblical Example: The Israelites were led by the pillar of fire by night (Exodus 13:21-22). God’s light provided them direction in the wilderness.

3. THE LIGHT OF LIFE CONQUERS DARKNESS
No form of darkness can overpower divine light.

a) Darkness represents sin, ignorance, and bondage
(Romans 13:12) — Put off works of darkness and put on the armour of light.

b) The light of Christ dispels every form of spiritual blindness
(2 Corinthians 4:4-6) — The god of this world blinds minds, but Christ gives light.

c) Light brings deliverance from demonic oppression
(Colossians 1:13) — Delivered from darkness and translated into the kingdom of light.

d) To walk in the light is to walk in victory
(1 John 1:7) — If we walk in the light, we have fellowship and cleansing.

Biblical Example: Jesus casting out the legion from the man in the tombs (Mark 5:1-15). The light broke the chains of demonic darkness.

4. THE LIGHT OF LIFE REVEALS TRUE IDENTITY AND PURPOSE
Until the light of God shines on a man, he may never know who he truly is.

a) Light reveals hidden gifts and divine callings
(2 Timothy 1:6) — Stir up the gift that is in you.

b) You cannot fulfil destiny in darkness
(Isaiah 60:1) — Arise, shine; your light is come.

c) Light gives access to divine wisdom and creativity
(Daniel 5:14) — “Light and understanding and excellent wisdom is found in thee.”

d) Purpose-driven living is a product of divine light
(Ephesians 5:8-10) — Now you are light in the Lord, walk as children of light.

Biblical Example: Joseph in Egypt — through divine light and favour, he discovered and fulfilled his divine destiny (Genesis 41:14-40).

5. THE LIGHT OF LIFE MAKES YOU A LIGHT TO OTHERS
We are not just to receive the light but to reflect it.

a) Believers are the light of the world
(Matthew 5:14) — You are a city set on a hill.

b) Our lives should shine to glorify God
(Matthew 5:16) — Let your light so shine before men…

c) Light attracts, influences, and transforms
(Philippians 2:15) — Shine as lights in a crooked world.

d) We are called to evangelise and illuminate the world
(Isaiah 49:6) — A light to the Gentiles, salvation to the ends of the earth.

Biblical Example: The early Church (Acts 2:42-47) — Their lifestyle, miracles, and love shone brightly and drew many to the faith.

CONCLUSION:
The light of life is not a mere concept; it is the person of Jesus Christ, the Word of God, and the presence of the Holy Spirit. To possess this light is to possess clarity, purpose, strength, and victory over all darkness.

Let us not merely admire the light but walk in it daily. When we embrace the light of life, we reflect His glory, fulfil destiny, and impact the world for Christ.

HOW TO WALK IN THE LIGHT

HOW TO WALK IN THE LIGHT

By Rev. Samuel Arimoro

Main Text: 1 John 1:5-7 (KJV)
“This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.”

Supporting Texts: John 8:12; Psalm 119:105; Ephesians 5:8-11; Isaiah 2:5; Romans 13:12-14

INTRODUCTION:
The Christian life is a journey that must be walked in the light of God. The "light" symbolises holiness, truth, righteousness, and the very nature of God. Walking in the light means living in alignment with God’s will and avoiding the deception and darkness of sin.

In a world plagued with spiritual blindness, compromise, and darkness, the believer is called to a higher standard of life — one governed by the truth and presence of God. Jesus Himself declared that He is the light of the world, and anyone who follows Him shall not walk in darkness.

To walk in the light is to follow Christ daily with sincerity, integrity, and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. This sermon outlines how a believer can effectively walk in the light and remain in fellowship with the Father.

1. RECEIVE THE LIGHT OF CHRIST
The journey of walking in the light begins with receiving Jesus.

a) Jesus is the true Light
(John 8:12) Jesus declared Himself as the light of the world. Outside of Him, no man can truly walk in light.

b) Salvation is the first step
(Romans 10:9-10) Until a person is born again, he remains in darkness regardless of religious activities.

c) Light comes through the gospel
(2 Corinthians 4:4) The gospel opens the eyes of men and brings them into the light of God.

d) You must renounce darkness
(Colossians 1:13) When you receive Jesus, you are delivered from the power of darkness.

Biblical Example: Saul’s encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus (Acts 9:1-6) — a complete transition from darkness to light.

2. WALK ACCORDING TO GOD’S WORD
The Word of God is the guide for walking in the light.

a) The Word is a lamp and light
(Psalm 119:105) God’s Word gives direction and clarity for every step of life.

b) The Word exposes sin
(Hebrews 4:12) Light reveals what is hidden. The Word helps us identify and confront sin.

c) Obedience to the Word is key
(James 1:22–25) It is not enough to hear the Word; one must obey it to truly walk in light.

d) Consistent study maintains clarity
(2 Timothy 2:15) A diligent study life keeps the light shining brightly.

Biblical Example: The Berean Christians (Acts 17:11) — they searched the scriptures daily to ensure they walked in truth.

3. MAINTAIN FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD AND HIS PEOPLE
True fellowship helps sustain a walk in the light.

a) Fellowship with God brings illumination
(Psalm 36:9) In God’s presence, we see light and gain understanding.

b) Fellowship with believers is vital
(1 John 1:7) As we walk in the light, we are united with fellow believers.

c) Isolation can breed darkness
(Proverbs 18:1) Walking alone can lead to deception and decline in spiritual fervour.

d) Accountability sharpens character
(Proverbs 27:17) Iron sharpens iron — fellowship builds spiritual strength.

Biblical Example: The early Church (Acts 2:42-47) — they continued steadfastly in fellowship and grew in the light.

4. BE LED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT
Walking in the light is not possible without the help of the Holy Spirit.

a) The Spirit guides into all truth
(John 16:13) The Holy Spirit is our teacher and guide in this journey.

b) The Spirit convicts and corrects
(John 16:8) He reveals when we are veering into darkness.

c) Sensitivity to the Spirit is crucial
(Galatians 5:16) Walking in the Spirit helps us overcome the flesh.

d) The Spirit illuminates scriptures
(1 Corinthians 2:10-12) He reveals the deep things of God to the believer.

Biblical Example: Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch (Acts 8:26-39) — the Spirit led Philip to shine the light of the gospel.

5. PRACTISE RIGHTEOUSNESS AND TRUTH
Your lifestyle must reflect the light within you.

a) Light produces good works
(Matthew 5:16) Our light must shine through righteous living.

b) Avoid works of darkness
(Ephesians 5:11) Refuse to associate with sinful practices.

c) Live transparently before God
(1 John 1:6) Deception is incompatible with walking in light.

d) Let your life convict the world
(Philippians 2:15) Shine as lights in a crooked and perverse generation.

Biblical Example: Daniel in Babylon (Daniel 6:1-5) — a man who practised righteousness and stood out as a light.

CONCLUSION:
Walking in the light is not a one-time decision but a daily, conscious commitment to live in truth, righteousness, and obedience to God. It is a life that honours God and reveals Christ to the world.

Those who walk in the light will enjoy divine fellowship, protection from error, and continual cleansing through the blood of Jesus. Determine today to reject darkness and walk consistently in the light of Christ.

ONLY WALK IN THE LIGHT

ONLY WALK IN THE LIGHT

By Rev. Samuel Arimoro

Main Text: 1 John 1:5–7
"This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin."

Supporting Texts: John 8:12; Ephesians 5:8-11; Psalm 119:105; Proverbs 4:18; Isaiah 2:5

INTRODUCTION:
To walk in the light means to live in the truth, in obedience, and in transparency before God and man. It is a life that aligns with the nature and character of God, who is Light and in whom there is no darkness at all. Darkness symbolises sin, ignorance, deception, and disobedience, while light symbolises holiness, righteousness, clarity, and divine direction.

In a world filled with deception, compromise, and spiritual confusion, believers are constantly tempted to stray into darkness. The danger of compromise is not only the loss of testimony but the gradual separation from true fellowship with God. Walking in the light preserves our purity, keeps us on the right path, and ensures our lives shine as testimonies to the world around us.

This message challenges us to examine the paths we walk daily. Are we walking in the light of God's Word or in the shadows of human reasoning and compromise? God is calling us to live lives that reflect His light consistently and deliberately.

1. GOD IS LIGHT AND HIS WAYS ARE PURE
God’s very essence is light—pure, holy, and undefiled. To follow Him is to pursue a life of holiness and truth.

a) God’s nature defines the standard
Because God is light, He can never lead us into sin or deception (James 1:17).

b) His light exposes sin
The light of God uncovers every hidden motive and action (John 3:20-21).

c) Light brings understanding
Walking in the light means living with clarity, not confusion (Psalm 119:130).

d) God’s light leads to life
To walk in His light is to experience eternal life and fullness of joy (John 8:12).

Biblical Example: Moses on Mount Sinai (Exodus 34:29-35) — After spending time with God, Moses’ face radiated light, reflecting divine fellowship and purity.

2. WALKING IN DARKNESS BREAKS FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD
You cannot claim intimacy with God while living in deliberate sin or disobedience.

a) Sin separates from God
God is holy and cannot tolerate sin in fellowship (Isaiah 59:2).

b) Deception is self-inflicted
Claiming to walk with God while in darkness is living a lie (1 John 1:6).

c) Hidden sin weakens spiritual authority
Darkness robs a believer of boldness and power (Proverbs 28:1).

d) Darkness attracts destruction
The devil operates in darkness and thrives on secrecy (Ephesians 5:11).

Biblical Example: King Saul (1 Samuel 15:22-29) — His disobedience and excuses led him from light into darkness and loss of divine favour.

3. WALKING IN THE LIGHT BUILDS GODLY FELLOWSHIP
Light unites; darkness divides. When we live in the light, true Christian unity and trust flourish.

a) Transparency fosters trust
Walking in the light means living openly and honestly (Ephesians 4:25).

b) Unity is birthed in the light
True fellowship cannot exist where there is pretense and secrecy (Acts 2:42-47).

c) Light promotes mutual edification
We help each other grow when we walk in truth (Hebrews 10:24-25).

d) Light removes offence
A heart in the light quickly forgives and avoids division (Colossians 3:13).

Biblical Example: The Early Church (Acts 4:32-35) — They walked in unity and transparency, resulting in great power and grace.

4. THE WORD OF GOD IS OUR LIGHTED PATHWAY
God’s Word is the roadmap for walking in the light.

a) Scripture reveals the right way
The Word is our lamp and light (Psalm 119:105).

b) Obedience to the Word keeps us aligned
Light shines as we apply the Word, not just hear it (James 1:22).

c) The Word rebukes darkness
The truth of Scripture exposes error and sin (2 Timothy 3:16).

d) Meditation fuels illumination
Consistent meditation keeps the light of the Word burning bright (Joshua 1:8).

Biblical Example: The Berean Christians (Acts 17:11) — They searched the Scriptures daily to ensure they walked in the light of truth.

5. STAYING IN THE LIGHT DEMANDS CONSISTENT FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD
Remaining in the light is not a one-time decision, but a daily walk with God.

a) Daily communion with God keeps the light burning
Prayer and worship renew our spiritual fire (Luke 5:16).

b) Fellowship with other believers strengthens our light
Isolation often leads to darkness (Hebrews 10:25).

c) Confession restores broken fellowship
Light returns when we confess and forsake our sins (1 John 1:9).

d) Be intentional about spiritual growth
Growth in grace keeps you from being overcome by darkness (2 Peter 3:18).

Biblical Example: Enoch (Genesis 5:22-24) — He walked with God faithfully and was taken because he pleased God.

CONCLUSION:
God desires that His children walk in His light, not just for their own sake, but to shine that light in a dark world. The benefits of walking in the light are immense—true fellowship with God, joy, victory over sin, and spiritual authority. However, the danger of darkness is deadly and deceptive.

If there’s any area of your life still in darkness, now is the time to step into the light. God is calling you to a life of truth, purity, and power. Refuse to hide in shadows. Walk boldly in the light and shine for Christ.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Lord, expose and uproot every trace of darkness in my life.
2. Father, help me to walk in the light of Your truth daily.
3. Every hidden sin in my life, be revealed and destroyed by the light of God.
4. Lord, renew my fellowship with You and restore my spiritual fire.
5. I receive grace to stay consistent in studying and obeying Your Word.
6. Father, surround me with people who walk in the light.
7. I refuse to be deceived by appearances—I choose truth and holiness.
8. Let my life reflect the light of Christ to the world around me.
9. Lord, keep me from every compromise that leads to darkness.
10. Empower me to live a life of purity, boldness, and spiritual victory.

GOD'S WORD FOR YOU TODAY:
1. You will no longer walk in darkness—your light has come!
2. Every work of darkness around you is exposed and destroyed.
3. You will have constant fellowship with God without interruption.
4. The light of God will guide every step you take.
5. You will not be a victim of spiritual deception.
6. Your life will shine brighter and brighter unto a perfect day.
7. The Word of God will be your compass and shield.
8. You will walk in spiritual authority and dominion.
9. The joy of walking in the light will overflow in your heart.
10. Your life will be a reflection of God’s purity and power.

THE DANGER OF FOLLOWING GOD WITH HUMAN WISDOM

THE DANGER OF FOLLOWING GOD WITH HUMAN WISDOM

By Rev. Samuel Arimoro

Main Text: 1 Corinthians 1:18-25
“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God…” (1 Corinthians 1:18)

Supporting Texts: Proverbs 3:5-7, Romans 8:6-8, Isaiah 55:8-9, James 3:15, Jeremiah 17:5-6

INTRODUCTION:
In our journey of faith and service to God, we are often tempted to lean on our intellect, logic, and experiences. While these are useful tools in daily life, they can become dangerous when they take the place of divine direction. Many have missed divine appointments and aborted heavenly purposes because they followed God using the compass of human wisdom rather than the map of the Spirit.

Human wisdom is limited, earthly, and often self-centred. It is shaped by culture, education, and personal preference — all of which are subject to error and corruption. When a man chooses to follow God based on what seems right to him, rather than what God has spoken, he will eventually find himself off-course, frustrated, or completely outside the will of God.

True success in the Christian walk and ministry is rooted in surrender, not strategy. It flows from revelation, not reason. To walk with God is to walk by faith and not by sight. Therefore, we must beware of substituting spiritual obedience with carnal calculation.

1. HUMAN WISDOM CANNOT COMPREHEND GOD’S WAYS
Human logic will always fall short in grasping the depths of God's operations.

a) God’s thoughts are higher than ours
(Isaiah 55:8-9) – God's ways are beyond the natural mind's ability to understand.

b) The spiritual is foolishness to the carnal mind
(1 Corinthians 2:14) – Human wisdom sees the things of the Spirit as unreasonable.

c) God uses the foolish to confound the wise
(1 Corinthians 1:27) – Divine operations often contradict worldly intelligence.

d) Leaning on our understanding leads to error
(Proverbs 3:5-7) – Trusting in ourselves rather than in God brings ruin.

Biblical Example: Naaman almost missed his healing because of his preconceived ideas of how God should heal him (2 Kings 5:10-14).

2. HUMAN WISDOM BREEDS PRIDE AND SELF-DEPENDENCE
The reliance on intellect and strategy fosters arrogance, which God resists.

a) Pride goes before destruction
(Proverbs 16:18) – Intellectual arrogance leads to downfall.

b) God resists the proud
(James 4:6) – Divine help is withheld from the self-sufficient.

c) Success by human wisdom glorifies man, not God
(Isaiah 42:8) – God will not share His glory with human schemes.

d) Trusting man leads to dryness
(Jeremiah 17:5-6) – Human strength cannot sustain spiritual outcomes.

Biblical Example: King Uzziah became strong and proud, and he trespassed into the priest’s office — God struck him with leprosy (2 Chronicles 26:16-21).

3. HUMAN WISDOM OPENS THE DOOR TO DEMONIC INFLUENCE
Worldly wisdom, when elevated above God's Word, can become a channel of deception.

a) There’s wisdom that is earthly, sensual, and devilish
(James 3:15) – Not all wisdom is godly; some are influenced by the demonic.

b) Satan can exploit logic to tempt the believer
(Matthew 4:3-6) – The devil used Scripture and logic to try to mislead Jesus.

c) Relying on intellect can lead to manipulation
(Galatians 3:1-3) – The Galatians began in the Spirit but sought to finish in the flesh.

d) Philosophy can spoil the believer
(Colossians 2:8) – Intellectualism outside of Christ is a snare.

Biblical Example: Peter tried to stop Jesus from going to the cross, using human compassion. Jesus rebuked him as Satan’s mouthpiece (Matthew 16:21-23).

4. GOD DESIRES OBEDIENCE, NOT ANALYSIS
The call to follow God is a call to trust and obey, even when it does not make sense.

a) Obedience is better than sacrifice
(1 Samuel 15:22) – God honours yielded hearts over intellectual offerings.

b) The just shall live by faith
(Habakkuk 2:4) – Not by formulas or personal strategies.

c) Instructions from God may defy logic
(Joshua 6:3-5) – Marching around a wall seven times is not a military strategy.

d) God seeks followers, not analysts
(Luke 5:4-6) – Peter caught a multitude of fish when he obeyed the "foolish" instruction of Jesus.

Biblical Example: Abraham offered Isaac even when it made no human sense — that obedience secured generational blessing (Genesis 22:1-18).

CONCLUSION:
God is not seeking experts; He is seeking the obedient. Following Him requires that we crucify our natural wisdom and embrace divine instruction. There is danger in depending on human intelligence to navigate spiritual assignments. Such a path leads to error, frustration, and loss.

But when we choose to submit our wisdom and yield to His Spirit, He leads us into the fullness of His plans. Let us walk in humility, always acknowledging that His ways are perfect and His thoughts are higher than ours.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Lord, deliver me from the deception of human wisdom.
2. Father, give me a heart that trusts Your leading without questioning.
3. I receive grace to obey divine instructions even when they do not make sense.
4. Every pride of intellect in me, be broken by the power of the cross.
5. I shut the door against every form of demonic manipulation in my life.
6. Lord, help me to walk by faith and not by sight.
7. Father, make me sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit.
8. Every stronghold of logic that hinders obedience, be pulled down.
9. Let the mind of Christ be fully formed in me.
10. I renounce every worldly counsel working against God’s plan in my life.

GOD'S WORD FOR YOU TODAY:
1. You will not be led astray by the wisdom of men.
2. The voice of the Lord will be clearer to you than ever before.
3. God will grant you supernatural insight above the natural mind.
4. You will walk in obedience and enjoy the blessings of divine instruction.
5. Every pride and self-dependence is being broken in your life.
6. You are delivered from every deception that looks like wisdom.
7. God is lifting you above the confusion of human reasoning.
8. You will not miss divine opportunities through carnal decisions.
9. The Spirit of truth will guide you into all truth.
10. Your steps will be ordered by the Lord continually.

OVERCOMING YOUR WEAKNESSES

OVERCOMING YOUR WEAKNESSES

By Rev. Samuel Arimoro

Main Text: 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (KJV)

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.”

Supporting Texts: Romans 7:18-25; Hebrews 4:15-16; Philippians 4:13; Isaiah 40:29; Proverbs 24:10

INTRODUCTION:
Weakness is part of the human experience. No matter how anointed or gifted we are, we all have areas of vulnerability, limitations, and struggles. However, weakness is not the end of the story. In Christ, weakness is an opportunity for the strength and grace of God to be revealed. God does not abandon us because of our weaknesses—He equips us to overcome them.

The devil specialises in using our weaknesses to bring condemnation, stagnation, and destruction. But God, in His mercy, desires that we rise above them by His power. Our success and spiritual maturity depend on how we handle our weaknesses—whether we hide them, justify them, or submit them to God for transformation.

Overcoming weaknesses is a journey that requires honesty, grace, discipline, and dependence on the Holy Spirit. Let us explore how to confront and conquer the areas of weakness in our lives to fulfil God’s purpose.

1. IDENTIFYING YOUR WEAKNESSES
You cannot overcome what you refuse to recognise.

a) Self-awareness is the first step to transformation (Lamentations 3:40)
Let us examine and test our ways, and let us return to the Lord.

b) Denial empowers weakness (Proverbs 28:13)
He who covers his sins will not prosper.

c) Be honest before God and yourself (Psalm 139:23-24)
Ask God to search your heart and reveal hidden flaws.

d) Weakness is not a shame when brought to God (Hebrews 4:15-16)
Jesus understands our weaknesses and offers mercy and help.

Biblical Example: Peter (Luke 22:60-62) — He wept bitterly after denying Jesus, which marked the beginning of his restoration.

2. DEPENDING ON GOD’S GRACE FOR STRENGTH
Grace is God’s power made available in our weaknesses.

a) God’s strength is revealed in human weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9)
His grace is sufficient, and His strength is made perfect in weakness.

b) You must rely on God, not your own willpower (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Trust in the Lord with all your heart.

c) Grace teaches and empowers us to say no to sin (Titus 2:11-12)
The grace of God brings salvation and enables righteous living.

d) Strength comes when we wait upon the Lord (Isaiah 40:29-31)
He gives power to the faint and increases the strength of the weak.

Biblical Example: Paul (2 Corinthians 12:7-10) — Despite his “thorn in the flesh,” God’s grace sustained and empowered him.

3. GUARDING AGAINST REPETITIVE FAILURES
To overcome weakness, you must avoid triggers and cycles.

a) Weakness thrives where discipline is absent (Proverbs 25:28)
A man without self-control is like a city broken down.

b) Avoid environments and influences that fuel your struggle (1 Thessalonians 5:22)
Abstain from all appearances of evil.

c) Put boundaries in place to protect your victory (Romans 13:14)
Make no provision for the flesh to fulfil its lusts.

d) The fear of God keeps us from falling repeatedly (Proverbs 16:6)
By the fear of the Lord, men depart from evil.

Biblical Example: Samson (Judges 16:1-21) — He repeatedly returned to compromise, which eventually cost him his strength and vision.

4. ENGAGING THE WORD AND PRAYER FOR INNER STRENGTH
Spiritual weakness must be addressed with spiritual weapons.

a) The Word of God renews your mind (Romans 12:2)
Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

b) Prayer strengthens your inner man (Ephesians 3:16)
Be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man.

c) The more you feed on the Word, the stronger you become (Matthew 4:4)
Man shall not live by bread alone.

d) Praying in the Spirit builds spiritual stamina (Jude 1:20)
Build up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.

Biblical Example: Jesus (Luke 22:41-44) — In Gethsemane, He prayed until strength came to endure the cross.

5. SEEKING ACCOUNTABILITY AND SPIRITUAL SUPPORT
You are not meant to fight your weaknesses alone.

a) Confession brings healing (James 5:16)
Confess your faults one to another and pray for one another.

b) Iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17)
God uses relationships to build strength and discipline.

c) A godly mentor or accountability partner helps sustain victory (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10)
Two are better than one because they help each other up.

d) Isolating yourself invites spiritual defeat (Hebrews 10:25)
Do not forsake the assembly of believers.

Biblical Example: David and Nathan (2 Samuel 12:1-13) — Nathan confronted David, which led to his repentance and restoration.

CONCLUSION:
Weakness is not a death sentence—it is a platform for God to display His strength. When you confront your weaknesses with the help of God’s Word, grace, prayer, and spiritual support, you will emerge stronger and more victorious. Your destiny is too important to be hindered by unchecked flaws.

Refuse to settle in failure. Don’t accept defeat. Rise again and keep moving forward in the strength of the Lord. Let your weakness become a testimony of God's transforming power, and let the devil be ashamed that he ever tried to stop you.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Lord, open my eyes to see and confront my weaknesses.
2. I receive grace to rise above every limitation in my life.
3. Father, renew my inner strength daily by Your Spirit.
4. Every repeated cycle of failure, be broken in Jesus’ name.
5. Empower me to say no to temptation and sin.
6. Let my life reflect the power of the cross over weakness.
7. Grant me godly relationships that will help me stay strong.
8. I refuse to be a victim of my past or my mistakes.
9. Fill me with the wisdom to avoid spiritual traps.
10. Let my life glorify You through consistent victory.

GOD’S WORD FOR YOU TODAY:
1. Your weakness will not define your destiny.
2. God’s strength is working mightily in your weakness.
3. You are rising above every personal struggle.
4. The power of Christ is resting upon you.
5. You are more than a conqueror through Christ.
6. Grace is available for your journey—receive it now.
7. You will not fall where you fell before.
8. God is raising you as a testimony of His mercy.
9. No weakness will hinder your assignment.
10. You will finish strong, full of grace and strength!

MINISTRY IN A DYNAMIC WORLD

MINISTRY IN A DYNAMIC WORLD

By Rev. Samuel Arimoro

Main Text: 1 Corinthians 9:19-23

Supporting Texts: Matthew 28:19-20, Romans 12:1-2, 2 Timothy 4:2, Acts 17:22-34, 1 Chronicles 12:32

INTRODUCTION:
We live in a world that is constantly evolving—socially, culturally, technologically, and morally. For the Church to remain effective, we must understand how to do ministry in a dynamic world without compromising the eternal truth of God’s Word. Ministry today requires discernment, adaptability, and an unshakable commitment to Christ's mission. Paul’s example in 1 Corinthians 9 shows us how to become “all things to all men” in order to win some, without changing the Gospel message.

1. UNDERSTANDING THE TIMES AND SEASONS

a) Discernment is required
(1 Chronicles 12:32) – The sons of Issachar had understanding of the times to know what Israel ought to do.

b) Culture is not the enemy, but a mission field
(Acts 17:22-23) – Paul preached to the Athenians by referencing their altar “to an unknown god.”

c) Ministry must be responsive, not reactive
(Ecclesiastes 3:1) – There is a time for every purpose under heaven.

d) Be alert to global and local changes
(Matthew 24:12) – Because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

Biblical Example: Jesus and the Samaritan Woman (John 4:7-26)
Jesus addressed cultural and spiritual issues sensitively to bring salvation to the woman and her community.

2. HOLDING UNTO TRUTH IN A WORLD OF RELATIVISM

a) God's Word remains unchanging
(Isaiah 40:8) – The Word of our God stands forever.

b) Preach the truth with love
(Ephesians 4:15) – Speaking the truth in love helps in spiritual maturity.

c) Avoid compromising God’s standards
(Romans 12:2) – Be not conformed to this world.

d) Let the Gospel confront sin, not culture alone
(2 Timothy 4:2) – Preach the word; be instant in season and out of season.

Biblical Example: John the Baptist confronting Herod (Mark 6:17-18)
Even at personal risk, John upheld truth in a corrupt culture.

3. EMBRACING TECHNOLOGY AND MEDIA FOR MINISTRY

a) Technology is a tool, not a threat
(Daniel 12:4) – Knowledge shall increase in the end time.

b) Use media to reach the unreached
(Psalm 68:11) – The Lord gave the word; great was the company of those who published it.

c) Let innovation serve the message
(Matthew 5:14-16) – A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.

d) Be present where people gather
(Luke 5:1-3) – Jesus used Peter’s boat as a pulpit to reach the multitude.

Biblical Example: Paul's Epistles (Philippians 1:12-14)
Even while in prison, Paul used writing to spread the Gospel far and wide.

4. DEALING WITH MORAL AND SPIRITUAL DECLINE

a) The love of many is waxing cold
(2 Timothy 3:1-5) – Perilous times shall come.

b) Sound doctrine is under attack
(2 Timothy 4:3-4) – People will heap teachers to themselves.

c) Remain a voice for holiness and righteousness
(Hebrews 12:14) – Without holiness, no one shall see the Lord.

d) Pray for spiritual discernment and boldness
(Acts 4:29-31) – The disciples prayed for boldness amid opposition.

Biblical Example: Elijah vs. Prophets of Baal (1 Kings 18:17-39)
Elijah stood firm for God in a morally decaying society.

5. RAISING DISCIPLES, NOT JUST CONVERTS

a) The Great Commission is about discipleship
(Matthew 28:19-20) – Teaching them to observe all things.

b) Invest in people, not just programmes
(2 Timothy 2:2) – Entrust to faithful men who can teach others.

c) Train people to live the Gospel in a changing world
(Colossians 2:6-8) – Walk in Christ, rooted and built up in Him.

d) Build community through fellowship and service
(Acts 2:42-47) – The early church grew through shared life and devotion.

Biblical Example: Jesus and the Twelve Disciples (Mark 3:13-15)
He called them to be with Him before sending them out to preach.

CONCLUSION:
Ministry in a dynamic world demands flexibility in method, but firmness in message. The Church must be culturally relevant without becoming spiritually irrelevant. With discernment, truth, and the power of the Holy Spirit, we can thrive and bear fruit even in challenging times.

PRAYER POINTS:

1.  Father, help me to understand the times and know what to do.

2.  Lord, empower me to hold fast to Your truth in a shifting world.

3.  Holy Spirit, guide me to speak boldly and wisely to this generation.

4.  Father, give me wisdom to use technology and tools to spread the Gospel.

5.  Lord, help the Church remain steadfast and pure amid moral decay.

6.  Jesus, raise up disciple-makers and faithful leaders in this generation.

7.  Father, let Your Word continue to spread through every available platform.

8.  Lord, awaken a hunger for truth and righteousness in our nation.

9.  Father, keep me from compromise and spiritual lukewarmness.

10.  Lord, give me the heart to serve in this dynamic world with excellence.

INTEGRITY: THE PREREQUISITE FOR SUCCESS IN MINISTRY

INTEGRITY: THE PREREQUISITE FOR SUCCESS IN MINISTRY

By Rev. Samuel Arimoro

Main Text: Psalm 15:1-5 (KJV)

"LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.
He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.
In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.
He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved."

Supporting Texts: Proverbs 11:3; 2 Corinthians 8:21; Titus 2:7-8; Daniel 6:4; Job 2:3

INTRODUCTION:
In the divine economy, ministry is not merely about charisma, gifting, or influence—it is about character. At the centre of character lies integrity, a rare but vital commodity in today’s world. Ministry without integrity is like a structure without a foundation—it will eventually crumble under pressure. The success God honours in ministry is not just about results, but about righteousness.

Many ministers fall not because of lack of anointing or spiritual gifts, but because of a lack of integrity. When our walk does not match our talk, we invite reproach to the name of Christ and damage the testimony of the Gospel. The world is not just looking for powerful preachers, but for truthful and trustworthy leaders.

Integrity is doing the right thing even when no one is watching. It is choosing obedience over popularity and holiness over hype. In this message, we shall explore why integrity is non-negotiable for lasting and fruitful success in ministry.

1. INTEGRITY BUILDS TRUST AND CREDIBILITY
Without trust, ministry influence is crippled.

a) Trust is the foundation of spiritual leadership (Proverbs 22:1)
A good name is more valuable than great riches. People will only follow those they trust.

b) Integrity earns respect and lasting honour (Proverbs 10:9)
Those who walk in integrity walk securely, without fear of being exposed or discredited.

c) Credibility sustains long-term ministry impact (1 Timothy 3:7)
Even outsiders must recognise a minister’s good testimony.

d) Reputation without integrity is hypocrisy (Matthew 23:28)
Jesus rebuked the Pharisees who appeared righteous outwardly but were corrupt inwardly.

Biblical Example: Samuel the Prophet (1 Samuel 12:3-5) — He publicly declared his integrity, and the people confirmed his honesty and blamelessness.

2. INTEGRITY PRESERVES THE ANOINTING
The anointing must be protected by purity.

a) Sin corrupts the vessel and limits divine flow (Isaiah 59:2)
When iniquity is present, fellowship with God is broken, and so is effectiveness in ministry.

b) God does not anoint disobedience (1 Samuel 15:23)
Saul’s downfall came when he chose compromise over complete obedience.

c) Holiness safeguards the presence of God (Psalm 24:3-4)
Only those with clean hands and a pure heart can ascend the hill of the Lord.

d) The gifts may remain, but the glory departs (Judges 16:20)
Like Samson, one may still function outwardly, but the Spirit may have departed secretly.

Biblical Example: Joseph (Genesis 39:7-12) — He preserved his destiny by choosing integrity over momentary pleasure, even in private.

3. INTEGRITY ATTRACTS DIVINE FAVOUR AND PROMOTION
God honours those who honour Him with their lifestyle.

a) Righteous living draws divine endorsement (Proverbs 3:3-4)
Integrity brings favour with both God and man.

b) God promotes faithful stewards (Luke 16:10-12)
If you are faithful in little things, God will entrust you with more.

c) Uprightness aligns you with God's principles (Psalm 84:11)
No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.

d) Integrity unlocks supernatural promotion (Daniel 6:3)
Daniel distinguished himself through an excellent spirit and integrity.

Biblical Example: Daniel (Daniel 6:4-5) — His enemies could find no fault in him because he was faithful and incorruptible.

4. INTEGRITY STRENGTHENS CONSCIENCE AND INNER PEACE
Peace of mind is a priceless asset in ministry.

a) Integrity silences accusations (1 Peter 3:16)
A clear conscience enables a minister to rise above false allegations.

b) It gives boldness in spiritual warfare (Proverbs 28:1)
The righteous are bold because their hearts are clean before God.

c) Inner purity reflects outward confidence (2 Corinthians 1:12)
Paul rejoiced in the testimony of his conscience.

d) A guilty conscience weakens spiritual authority (1 John 3:21-22)
Confidence before God is tied to a clear conscience.

Biblical Example: Job (Job 2:3) — Despite his afflictions, God testified of Job’s integrity.

CONCLUSION:
Integrity is not a suggestion—it is a divine requirement for every minister. It is the invisible backbone that sustains the visible fruit of ministry. Without it, ministry becomes a performance; with it, ministry becomes a divine assignment backed by heaven. In a world of compromise, the minister who walks in integrity will stand out as a light in the darkness.

Let us choose daily to uphold truth, reject hypocrisy, and live blamelessly before God and men. The reward may not always be instant, but it will be eternal. A man or woman of integrity may not always be popular, but they will be powerful and pleasing before God.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Lord, give me the grace to walk in integrity all the days of my life.
2. Father, purge me from every form of hidden sin that can destroy my testimony.
3. Let my life and ministry reflect the truth of Your Word.
4. Lord, deliver me from the temptation to compromise my values.
5. Create in me a clean heart, and renew a right spirit within me.
6. Father, let my conscience be tender and responsive to Your Spirit.
7. Uphold me by Your righteous right hand in times of pressure.
8. Lord, may I never sacrifice character on the altar of success.
9. Let the oil of my calling never dry due to impurity or dishonesty.
10. Father, help me to be faithful in little, so You can entrust me with much.

GOD'S WORD FOR YOU TODAY:
1. You will walk in truth and never stumble into shame.
2. The Lord will honour you because you honour Him.
3. Every trap set to tarnish your testimony shall fail.
4. God will raise your voice above accusation and slander.
5. You shall enjoy favour with both God and men.
6. The anointing upon your life will increase and not diminish.
7. Your conscience shall remain sensitive to the Holy Spirit.
8. You will rise by righteousness, not by manipulation.
9. The Lord will surround you with honour and peace.
10. You shall finish strong, full of grace and without reproach.

SUSTAINING SUCCESS IN THE KINGDOM WORK

SUSTAINING SUCCESS IN THE KINGDOM WORK

By Rev. Samuel Arimoro

Main Text: John 15:16 (KJV)

“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”

Supporting Texts: Matthew 25:21; 1 Corinthians 15:58; Philippians 1:6; 2 Peter 1:10; Revelation 2:10

INTRODUCTION:
Success in kingdom work is not measured by crowds, titles, or achievements—it is measured by fruit that remains. God desires that every believer not only be fruitful but also sustain their fruitfulness over time. It is one thing to start well in ministry or service, but it is another thing entirely to finish well and remain consistent.

The call of God is not a sprint but a marathon. Many begin with fire and passion, only to burn out or compromise midway. What sustains success in kingdom work is not human effort but divine principles, character, and continuous reliance on God.

True success in the kingdom is maintaining your purpose, purity, and productivity over time. It involves longevity without compromise, growth without pride, and relevance without losing your identity in Christ. Let us now examine how success in kingdom work can be sustained to the end.

1. STAYING ROOTED IN GOD’S PRESENCE
Intimacy with God is the secret of continuous fruitfulness.

a) God is the source of lasting success (Psalm 1:2-3)
When you delight in the Word of God, you will be like a tree that never withers.

b) Without God, fruitfulness is impossible (John 15:5)
Jesus said, “Without Me, ye can do nothing.”

c) Private devotion strengthens public impact (Mark 1:35)
Jesus withdrew regularly to pray, even while doing great ministry.

d) The presence of God brings renewal (Isaiah 40:31)
Those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.

Biblical Example: Moses (Exodus 33:14-16) — He insisted that God’s presence must go with him for success and distinction.

2. REMAINING FAITHFUL TO YOUR CALLING
Faithfulness is the measure of sustained success.

a) God rewards faithfulness, not popularity (Matthew 25:21)
“Well done, good and faithful servant” is the ultimate commendation.

b) Faithfulness requires consistency over time (1 Corinthians 4:2)
Stewards are required to be found faithful, not necessarily famous.

c) Faithfulness is tested in trials (James 1:12)
Success that endures must pass through pressure and still remain loyal to God.

d) Faithfulness leads to divine elevation (Luke 16:10)
Those faithful in little will be entrusted with much.

Biblical Example: Paul the Apostle (2 Timothy 4:7-8) — He finished his course with faithfulness and was confident of his eternal reward.

3. GUARDING YOUR CHARACTER AND CONSCIENCE
Character keeps you where gifting brought you.

a) Anointing may open doors, but character keeps them open (Proverbs 11:3)
Integrity guides the upright, but the unfaithful are destroyed by duplicity.

b) A clean conscience is necessary for sustained success (Acts 24:16)
Paul worked to maintain a clear conscience before God and man.

c) Compromise is the fastest way to fall (1 Timothy 1:19)
Some have made shipwreck of their faith by ignoring conscience.

d) Holy living keeps the fire burning (2 Timothy 2:21)
A sanctified vessel is fit for the Master’s use and continues to be effective.

Biblical Example: Joseph (Genesis 41:38-44) — He rose to prominence but never lost his integrity or identity in Egypt.

4. REMAINING HUMBLE AND TEACHABLE
Pride aborts sustained impact in God’s work.

a) Humility invites divine grace (James 4:6)
God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.

b) Pride causes spiritual downfall (Proverbs 16:18)
Many have fallen because they stopped learning and listening.

c) Teachability preserves relevance (Proverbs 9:9)
Even the wise grow wiser through counsel and correction.

d) God exalts the humble (1 Peter 5:6)
Those who remain low in heart will be lifted by the hand of God.

Biblical Example: David (Psalm 78:70-72) — Despite his elevation, David shepherded with integrity and skillful hands.

5. KEEPING ETERNITY IN VIEW
Kingdom success is incomplete without eternal reward.

a) The goal is to finish strong (Revelation 2:10)
Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.

b) Earthly success is temporary (Colossians 3:2)
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

c) Eternal perspective keeps you from distraction (2 Corinthians 4:17-18)
Our light affliction is working for us a far more exceeding eternal weight of glory.

d) Focus on the eternal prize (Philippians 3:14)
Press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Biblical Example: Stephen (Acts 7:55-60) — Even in death, he saw the heavens opened and Jesus standing, because he kept his eyes on eternity.

CONCLUSION:
Sustaining success in kingdom work demands more than passion; it demands principles. It’s not enough to start well; we must finish well. In a world where many rise and fall quickly, you are called to be a servant whose impact lasts beyond your lifetime. This happens only when you abide in Christ, remain faithful, guard your heart, walk in humility, and live with eternity in view.

Let us therefore renew our commitment to God and His work, not just for a season but for life. Remember, the true measure of kingdom success is not just what we build on earth, but what we will be rewarded for in heaven.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Lord, help me to stay rooted in Your presence daily.
2. Father, make me faithful in the assignment You have given me.
3. I reject every distraction that seeks to pull me away from my divine purpose.
4. Lord, preserve my character and integrity in the midst of success.
5. Keep me humble and teachable, no matter how far I rise.
6. Let my fruit in ministry remain and grow for Your glory.
7. Uproot pride and spiritual arrogance from my heart.
8. Father, help me to finish strong and well in Your work.
9. Let eternity always guide my decisions and actions.
10. Lord, may my legacy in Your kingdom endure beyond my generation.

GOD'S WORD FOR YOU TODAY:
1. You will not only succeed—you will be sustained by grace.
2. Your fruitfulness will multiply and remain.
3. No power shall cut short your divine assignment.
4. You will remain relevant, holy, and useful to God.
5. Heaven will recognise and reward your labour.
6. You will finish your course with joy and victory.
7. Every trap of pride and compromise is broken over your life.
8. Divine favour will keep you moving from glory to glory.
9. Your secret walk with God will fuel your public impact.
10. You shall receive a crown that will never fade away!

ANOINTING FOR SUSTAINABLE SUCCESS

ANOINTING FOR SUSTAINABLE SUCCESS

By Rev. Samuel Arimoro

Main Text: Isaiah 10:27 (KJV)

“And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.”

Supporting Texts: Psalm 92:10-14; Acts 10:38; Zechariah 4:6; 1 Samuel 16:13; 2 Corinthians 3:5-6

INTRODUCTION:
Success in itself is good, but success that cannot be sustained becomes a frustration. Many begin well but lack what it takes to continue and finish well. In the kingdom of God, sustainable success is never by human effort alone—it is by the anointing. The anointing is the divine enablement that empowers a person to do God’s work, achieve results, and remain relevant without burning out.

The anointing is not just for miracles or signs and wonders. It is also for wisdom, administration, endurance, decision-making, leadership, and long-term impact. It empowers the believer to prosper in their calling, weather spiritual battles, and remain fruitful through seasons.

The sustainability of your success is directly linked to the measure of the anointing you carry and your ability to remain connected to its Source. Let us now explore how the anointing plays a critical role in achieving and sustaining success in God’s kingdom.

1. THE ANOINTING DESTROYS YOKES THAT LIMIT PROGRESS
There can be no sustainable success without deliverance.

a) The anointing breaks limitations (Isaiah 10:27)
Every yoke hindering destiny progress is shattered by the anointing.

b) Success is sustained when you are free from bondage (Galatians 5:1)
Freedom in Christ ensures consistency in productivity.

c) Some battles can only be won by spiritual empowerment (Zechariah 4:6)
It is “not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit.”

d) The anointing lifts burdens that slow down destiny (Matthew 11:28-30)
Jesus gives rest to the weary through His divine grace.

Biblical Example: Gideon (Judges 6:34) — The Spirit of the Lord came upon him, and he broke free from fear and limitation to fulfil his calling.

2. THE ANOINTING EMPOWERS FOR CONSISTENT FRUITFULNESS
Sustainable success is about lasting fruit, not occasional results.

a) The anointed are planted and flourish (Psalm 92:10-14)
They bear fruit even in old age and remain fresh and flourishing.

b) Fruitfulness without dryness comes by the Spirit (John 15:5)
Apart from Christ, lasting success is impossible.

c) The anointing helps you to stay productive through seasons (Ecclesiastes 3:1)
Seasons change, but the anointed remain relevant.

d) God does not just want fruit—He wants fruit that remains (John 15:16)
That is the measure of true success in ministry and life.

Biblical Example: Joseph (Genesis 39:2-4) — The Lord was with him, and he prospered wherever he was, in the pit, in prison, and in the palace.

3. THE ANOINTING GIVES WISDOM FOR STRATEGIC DECISIONS
Success is sustained by divine direction and wise choices.

a) Wisdom is a sign of anointing (Deuteronomy 34:9)
Joshua was filled with the Spirit of wisdom after Moses laid hands on him.

b) Anointed people do not act impulsively (Proverbs 4:7)
They apply wisdom in all things and get understanding.

c) Kingdom advancement requires spiritual intelligence (Daniel 1:17-20)
God’s Spirit gives insight that surpasses the world’s systems.

d) The anointing teaches and leads (1 John 2:27)
The Holy Spirit instructs and guides in the way of sustainable success.

Biblical Example: Solomon (1 Kings 3:9-12) — He received divine wisdom through the anointing and sustained national peace and prosperity.

4. THE ANOINTING SUSTAINS STRENGTH FOR LONG-TERM ASSIGNMENTS
Kingdom work requires stamina, and only the anointing provides it.

a) Success without strength cannot be sustained (Isaiah 40:29-31)
Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength.

b) Ministry longevity requires divine strength (2 Timothy 2:1)
Be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

c) The anointing refreshes and renews continually (Psalm 23:5)
“Thou anointest my head with oil, my cup runneth over.”

d) You cannot run kingdom race with fleshly strength (Romans 8:8)
Those in the flesh cannot please God or go far.

Biblical Example: Elijah (1 Kings 19:7-8) — After receiving heavenly food and divine touch, he journeyed forty days and forty nights to Horeb.

5. THE ANOINTING PROTECTS AND PRESERVES THE VESSEL
You cannot sustain success if your life is under attack.

a) The anointed are divinely protected (Psalm 105:14-15)
“Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.”

b) The anointing builds a shield of divine preservation (Isaiah 54:17)
No weapon formed against you shall prosper.

c) You must be spiritually covered to remain relevant (Psalm 91:1-4)
The secret place is the source of sustained security.

d) The enemy targets anointed vessels (Luke 22:31-32)
Jesus prayed for Peter because of his calling.

Biblical Example: David (1 Samuel 16:13; Psalm 89:20-23) — Anointed by Samuel, he was preserved from Saul’s arrows and every enemy plan.

CONCLUSION:
The anointing is not a luxury—it is a necessity for sustainable success in God’s kingdom. Without it, efforts become burdens, and progress becomes temporary. The anointing empowers, protects, guides, and sustains the believer in all seasons. To go far, to last long, and to leave a lasting impact, you must be anointed and stay anointed.

Let your pursuit not only be success, but the oil that sustains it. Stay connected to the Source. Abide in the secret place. Refresh your altar. Then your success will not be a passing wave—it will be an eternal testimony to the glory of God.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Lord, anoint me afresh for long-lasting success in my calling.
2. Every yoke limiting my destiny, be destroyed by the anointing.
3. Father, fill me with wisdom for divine decision-making.
4. Let the oil on my head never run dry.
5. Lord, protect me from every attack of the enemy.
6. I reject every form of burnout and weariness in my service to God.
7. Empower me for consistency and spiritual strength.
8. Let my fruit remain and multiply in Jesus' name.
9. Refresh my altar and renew my fire daily.
10. Father, make me a vessel of lasting impact and influence.

GOD’S WORD FOR YOU TODAY:
1. The anointing upon your life shall increase and overflow.
2. You will not rise and fall—you shall rise and remain.
3. God is renewing your strength like the eagle.
4. Your hands will not be weak; your head will not lack oil.
5. Every barrier to your growth is being destroyed.
6. You are entering a season of multiplied fruitfulness.
7. Divine wisdom will guide your steps daily.
8. Your success will not fade—it will flourish.
9. God’s covering is over you and your assignment.
10. Your impact shall outlive you and bring glory to God!

THE GOD WHO STANDS IN THE FIRE

THE GOD WHO STANDS IN THE FIRE

By Rev. Samuel Arimoro

Main Text: Daniel 3:16-27

Supporting Texts: Isaiah 43:2, Psalm 91:15, Hebrews 13:5, 2 Corinthians 4:8-10, Romans 8:35-39

INTRODUCTION:
Life is filled with fiery trials—situations that test our faith, challenge our resolve, and stretch our endurance. These "fires" can come in the form of persecution, loss, hardship, opposition, or even spiritual battles. But for the child of God, no fire is ever faced alone. God has promised to stand with His people in their most trying moments, proving that His presence is not absent in adversity.

When the three Hebrew men—Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego—stood firm in their faith and refused to bow to the idol of Nebuchadnezzar, they were cast into a burning furnace. But to the amazement of all, a fourth man—divine in appearance—was seen walking with them. This profound demonstration of divine companionship teaches us that God does not abandon His own, even in the midst of flames.

God standing in the fire signifies His unwavering faithfulness, protective presence, and power to deliver. He does not always remove the fire, but He ensures that we are not consumed by it. This study explores the powerful reality of God’s presence with us in fiery trials and how it manifests His glory, protection, and ultimate victory.

1GOD’S PRESENCE IS MANIFEST IN TRIALS
One of the greatest assurances we have is that God does not forsake His people when they go through the fire.

a) He walks with us in fire
God promised in Isaiah 43:2 that when we pass through the fire, we shall not be burned, because He is with us.

b) His presence preserves us
The fire did not harm the Hebrew men because God’s presence overrode the natural effects of the flame (Daniel 3:27).

c) Trials reveal God’s glory
The presence of the fourth man caused even unbelievers to glorify God (Daniel 3:28-29).

d) God is closest in our lowest moments
Psalm 34:18 says God is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.

BIBLICAL EXAMPLE:
In Daniel 3, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were thrown into the fiery furnace for their uncompromising faith. The fire was made seven times hotter, yet it did not consume them. Instead, the Son of God appeared with them in the fire. Not only did they survive, but their clothes did not even smell of smoke. The presence of God neutralised the fire and turned their test into a powerful testimony.

2GOD USES FIRE TO DEMONSTRATE HIS POWER
God often allows the fire so that He can showcase His unmatched ability to deliver.

a) Fire becomes a platform for miracles
The furnace became a stage for divine intervention (Daniel 3:25).

b) He overturns the enemy’s plans
The very weapon meant to destroy the righteous became ineffective (Isaiah 54:17).

c) His power breaks every bondage
The fire burnt off only the ropes that bound the Hebrew men, symbolising liberation (Daniel 3:25).

d) God proves He is sovereign
Nebuchadnezzar acknowledged God’s supremacy after witnessing His power in the fire (Daniel 3:29).

BIBLICAL EXAMPLE:
Elijah called down fire from heaven to consume his sacrifice in 1 Kings 18:36-39, and God answered to show His supremacy over Baal. Fire did not consume Elijah; instead, it was the means through which God proved His power. Just like with the Hebrew men, fire became a tool for God’s manifestation.

3GOD BRINGS PROMOTION THROUGH THE FIRE
What was meant for destruction can become the path to elevation when God is involved.

a) Trials lead to elevation
After the fire, the Hebrew men were promoted in Babylon (Daniel 3:30).

b) Endurance earns divine reward
James 1:12 declares that those who endure trials will receive the crown of life.

c) Fire qualifies us for greater assignments
God refines us through trials like gold in a furnace (Malachi 3:3).

d) Enduring fire produces maturity
Suffering builds perseverance, character, and hope (Romans 5:3-5).

BIBLICAL EXAMPLE:
Job endured fiery trials, losing wealth, health, and family. Yet, because he stayed faithful, God restored him with double (Job 42:10). His testing period became a launching pad for divine promotion.

4GOD’S FIRE BRINGS REFINEMENT, NOT DESTRUCTION
For God’s people, fire is not to destroy but to purify and bring forth glory.

a) Fire purifies like gold
1 Peter 1:7 tells us that our faith is refined like gold through fire, resulting in praise and honour.

b) God allows the fire to cleanse us
The Refiner's fire removes impurities from our lives (Zechariah 13:9).

c) Fire is a sign of God's dealings
Those God uses greatly, He first refines thoroughly (Hebrews 12:6-11).

d) Refinement produces enduring faith
Trials teach us dependence on God, not ourselves (2 Corinthians 1:8-9).

BIBLICAL EXAMPLE:
Peter went through the fire of denial and failure (Luke 22:60-62), but Jesus restored him and refined him into a powerful apostle who boldly preached on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:14-41). His fiery moment led to a refined and unstoppable faith.

5GOD’S PRESENCE IN FIRE BRINGS PEACE AND COURAGE
Even in the midst of chaos, God’s presence brings inner calm and boldness.

a) Fear is conquered in His presence
Perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18). God's nearness brings peace.

b) The peace of God transcends circumstances
Philippians 4:7 says His peace guards our hearts even in trials.

c) Courage comes when we know God is near
Psalm 23:4 reminds us that even in the valley of the shadow of death, we need not fear.

d) God gives boldness to withstand pressure
Like the Hebrew men, we must declare, "Even if He doesn't..." (Daniel 3:18).

BIBLICAL EXAMPLE:
Paul and Silas, while in prison and pain, sang praises to God (Acts 16:25). Though surrounded by darkness and chains, the presence of God filled the prison, and the earth quaked. Their peace and courage brought about deliverance and salvation for others.

CONCLUSION:
The God we serve is not a distant observer when we go through life’s fires. He is Immanuel—God with us. His presence does not always stop the fire from burning, but it ensures that we are not consumed. The fourth man still appears today for those who refuse to bow to the pressures of this world.

No matter how hot your situation may seem, know that God is in it with you. Let your trust in Him be unwavering, and your faith unmoved. The fire that was meant to consume you will instead elevate you, refine you, and announce you to your world. Stand firm, for the God who stands in the fire still walks with His own.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Father, thank You for Your presence in every fiery trial of my life.
2. O Lord, walk with me through every storm and season of testing.
3. Let every fire in my life turn into a platform for Your glory.
4. I reject every fear and receive boldness in the face of trials.
5. Lord, deliver me from every enemy trap and plot to destroy me.
6. Refine my heart, Lord, and make me a vessel fit for Your glory.
7. I decree divine preservation in every situation of life.
8. Let my trials lead to promotion and elevation.
9. Father, raise a testimony out of every test in my life.
10. I receive peace and courage to stand in the midst of my challenges.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
1. You shall not be consumed by the fire of affliction!
2. The fourth man is showing up in your situation right now!
3. Every fire meant to destroy you will become your place of promotion!
4. The Lord shall turn your trial into a mighty testimony!
5. Divine presence will neutralise every satanic weapon against you!
6. Your enemies shall witness the hand of God upon your life!
7. You are coming out of the fire without scars or shame!
8. God is standing with you in your darkest hour!
9. The fire that was meant for your destruction shall announce your greatness!
10. From this day, you shall walk in divine protection and boldness!
