PULLING DOWN EVERY STRONGHOLD OF SATANIC DELAY

INTRODUCTION:
Satanic delay is a wicked strategy of the enemy to hinder breakthroughs, frustrate destinies, and slow down divine fulfilment. Many believers suffer unnecessary delays in marriage, career, finances, and ministry because of unseen battles in the spiritual realm. However, God has given us the power to pull down every stronghold of delay and enforce divine speed. This message exposes the forces behind delay and provides biblical keys for victory.
1. UNDERSTANDING SATANIC DELAY
Delay is a weapon of the enemy used to frustrate divine timing and purposes.
- a) Satanic delay hinders prayers and answers (Daniel 10:12-13)
The prince of Persia resisted Daniel’s answer for 21 days. - b) It causes frustration and weariness (Proverbs 13:12)
Hope deferred makes the heart sick. - c) It diverts destiny and purpose (Numbers 14:33-34)
The Israelites wandered in the wilderness for 40 years. - d) It blocks divine opportunities (Luke 13:6-9)
The barren fig tree was marked for destruction due to delay in bearing fruit. - e) Biblical Example: Abraham and Sarah’s Delayed Promise (Genesis 21:1-3)
They waited 25 years before Isaac was born.
2. CAUSES OF SATANIC DELAY
Certain factors contribute to prolonged waiting and hindered breakthroughs.
- a) Evil altars and covenants (Judges 6:25-26)
Gideon had to destroy his father’s altar before experiencing victory. - b) Ancestral curses and foundational battles (Lamentations 5:7)
Many suffer for sins committed by their forefathers. - c) Demonic strongholds and satanic opposition (2 Corinthians 10:4)
Spiritual warfare is needed to pull down strongholds. - d) Ignorance of spiritual principles (Hosea 4:6)
Lack of knowledge can lead to prolonged delay. - e) Biblical Example: The Delay of the Israelites in the Wilderness (Deuteronomy 1:2-3)
A journey of 11 days took them 40 years due to rebellion and disobedience.
3. SIGNS THAT YOU ARE UNDER SATANIC DELAY
Recognising these signs helps believers to take strategic action.
- a) Unusual stagnation despite efforts (Psalm 90:17)
Hard work does not yield expected results. - b) Near-success syndrome (Genesis 27:36)
Constant disappointment at the edge of breakthrough. - c) Recurring failure in key areas of life (Job 14:7-9)
When opportunities seem to dry up repeatedly. - d) Repeated dreams of backwardness (Isaiah 29:8)
Seeing oneself in old places or wearing old clothes in dreams. - e) Biblical Example: The Paralysed Man at the Pool of Bethesda (John 5:5-9)
He suffered delay for 38 years until Jesus intervened.
4. HOW TO PULL DOWN THE STRONGHOLD OF DELAY
God has provided divine strategies to break free from satanic delays.
- a) Engage in violent prayers and fasting (Matthew 17:21)
Some delays require aggressive prayers. - b) Break evil covenants and curses (Colossians 2:14-15)
Christ has nailed every ordinance against us to the cross. - c) Apply the power of the blood of Jesus (Revelation 12:11)
The blood of Jesus speaks against satanic delays. - d) Speak prophetic declarations over your life (Job 22:28)
Decrees establish divine speed and acceleration. - e) Biblical Example: Elijah’s Prayer for Rain (1 Kings 18:41-46)
Elijah prayed persistently until the delay was broken.
5. ENFORCING DIVINE SPEED AND RESTORATION
Once delay is broken, divine acceleration must be activated.
- a) Believe in God's promises and timing (Habakkuk 2:3)
God’s promises may tarry but they will surely come. - b) Walk in faith and obedience (Isaiah 1:19)
Obedience to divine instructions accelerates breakthroughs. - c) Stay connected to divine helpers (Esther 2:17)
God uses men to fast-track your destiny. - d) Maintain a lifestyle of praise and thanksgiving (2 Chronicles 20:22)
Praise provokes divine intervention. - e) Biblical Example: Joseph’s Sudden Promotion (Genesis 41:39-44)
After years of delay, Joseph was lifted overnight.
CONCLUSION:
Satanic delay is a weapon of darkness designed to frustrate destinies, but as believers, we have the power to pull down every stronghold and enforce divine speed. Every area of delay in your life is receiving divine acceleration today! Your breakthrough shall manifest speedily in Jesus' name!

- Lord, release my blessings from every power holding them hostage.
- Every spirit of near-success syndrome, be terminated now!
- I break every foundational curse causing delay in my family.
- My testimony shall not be postponed in Jesus’ name!
- I walk into my season of speedy breakthroughs!
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
- Every yoke of delay over your life is broken now!
- You shall no longer suffer setbacks in your destiny!
- Divine speed shall replace every stagnation in your life!
- Your breakthrough shall manifest without further delay!
- God will restore everything the enemy has stolen from you!
- The strongholds of delay in your family are shattered forever!
- From today, your life shall experience supernatural acceleration!
- No power of darkness shall hinder your testimony again!
- Your long-awaited blessings shall manifest suddenly!
- The Lord will do a new thing in your life, and it shall spring forth speedily!
