YOU WERE MADE FOR MORE

YOU WERE MADE FOR MORE

By Rev. Samuel Arimoro

Main Text: Ephesians 3:20

Supporting Texts: Jeremiah 29:11, Isaiah 54:2-3, Romans 8:37, Psalm 115:14

INTRODUCTION:
Many people live beneath their divine potential, trapped by fear, failure, or limitations imposed by others. But God never designed us for mediocrity or stagnation—He designed us for greatness and increase.
The truth of Scripture reveals that we are wired for more—more impact, more influence, more fruitfulness, and more glory. When we walk with God, no ceiling can hold us back.
Your current level is not your final destination. You were made for more—more than your past, more than your current circumstances, more than your doubts.

1.   GOD'S DESIGN FOR YOU IS GREATNESS

a) You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14)
You carry divine uniqueness and intentionality—there’s nothing random about your life.

b) You are created for good works (Ephesians 2:10)
You are equipped and prepared to make a lasting difference in the world.

c) You are destined to shine and bring glory to God (Matthew 5:14-16)
Your life is meant to radiate God's glory in every sphere.

d) God’s plans are always upward and forward (Jeremiah 29:11)
He never plans regression—only progress and peace.

Biblical Example: Jabez (1 Chronicles 4:9-10)
Though born in sorrow, he asked for more—and God granted his request.

2.  YOUR CURRENT LIMITATION IS NOT YOUR FINAL DESTINATION

a) Challenges are temporary; God's promises are eternal (2 Corinthians 4:17-18)
No matter what you're facing, there’s more on the other side.

b) God specialises in lifting people from the pit to the palace (Psalm 40:2)
Your low points are just a setup for divine promotion.

c) Don’t judge your future by your present condition (Romans 8:18)
What is ahead of you far outweighs what is behind.

d) You must see beyond what surrounds you now (2 Kings 6:16-17)
There is more in the spiritual than in the physical.

Biblical Example: Joseph (Genesis 41:38-44)
From the prison to the palace, God elevated him beyond expectations.

3.  BREAKING BARRIERS THROUGH REVELATION

a) Revelation brings liberation (John 8:32)
Knowing the truth about your identity releases divine empowerment.

b) You rise as far as your understanding allows (Proverbs 24:5)
What you know determines how far you can go.

c) You cannot walk in what you have not seen (Genesis 13:14-15)
Until you see more, you can’t become more.

d) God wants to expand your vision (Isaiah 54:2-3)
Stretching is a divine principle for increase.

Biblical Example: Abraham (Genesis 15:5)
God showed him the stars to expand his vision and capacity for more.

4.  LIVING DAILY WITH A “MORE” MINDSET

a) Don’t settle for survival—pursue significance (Philippians 3:13-14)
There is always a higher calling to press toward.

b) Faith is the driver of divine possibilities (Mark 9:23)
If you believe, you will experience more.

c) Renew your mind with God's Word (Romans 12:2)
What you believe shapes your reality.

d) Associate with people who speak to your next level (Proverbs 13:20)
Growth often happens through the right company.

Biblical Example: Elisha (2 Kings 2:9-14)
He pursued more by asking for a double portion and received it.

5.  THE HOLY SPIRIT EMPOWERS YOU FOR MORE

a) The Holy Spirit multiplies your potential (Acts 1:8)
He turns ordinary people into extraordinary vessels.

b) With the Spirit, limitations become launch pads (Judges 6:12-14)
You are more than your excuses or fears.

c) The Spirit stirs up gifts and graces in you (1 Corinthians 12:7)
You carry more inside you than you think.

d) The Spirit leads you into divine opportunities (Romans 8:14)
He guides you into new seasons and open doors.

Biblical Example: Peter (Acts 2:14-41)
Once timid, the Spirit turned him into a bold and unstoppable preacher.

CONCLUSION:
You were never meant to live an average life. God’s Word shows that you are wired for greatness, designed for impact, and equipped to rise above limits.
To live as one made for more, you must embrace divine vision, pursue purpose daily, and rely on the power of the Holy Spirit. Your best days are not behind—they are ahead.
