INTRODUCTION:
Life is full of transitions—seasons when we feel trapped or stagnant, and others where progress is swift. But God’s design for His children is never to remain stuck. When we align with His will and power, we move from stagnation to acceleration.
Being stuck could mean spiritual dryness, emotional weariness, financial hardship, or even repeated failure. But no matter where you are, God has the power to lift you out of the pit and place your feet on solid ground.
To move from stuck to unstoppable, you must believe that your present condition is not your final destination. This message is a call to rise, shake off the dust, and walk in your God-ordained path with boldness and determination.
1. RECOGNISE YOUR STUCK STATE
a) Acknowledge the delay or stagnation (Psalm 40:1)
You cannot overcome what you refuse to admit. Recognition is the first step to freedom.
b) Denial prolongs delay (Proverbs 28:13)
Pretending everything is fine when you’re stuck hinders the help you need.
c) Reflection reveals where and why you’re stuck (Lamentations 3:40)
Take a spiritual inventory to understand the cause of your standstill.
d) You are not alone in your situation (1 Corinthians 10:13)
Others have been stuck, but they rose by the help of God. So can you.
Biblical Example: The man at the Pool of Bethesda (John 5:1–9)
For 38 years he remained stuck until Jesus showed up and commanded him to rise.
2. CRY OUT FOR DIVINE INTERVENTION
a) Don’t suffer in silence (Psalm 40:1-2)
David cried to the Lord and God heard him. Your cry can activate divine rescue.
b) God responds to desperation (Jeremiah 33:3)
When you call out in faith, heaven opens for help.
c) Prayer breaks stagnation (Acts 12:5-10)
Peter was stuck in prison until the church prayed and the angel came.
d) Divine intervention brings direction (Isaiah 30:21)
God leads you out of stuck places into new paths.
Biblical Example: Jabez (1 Chronicles 4:9-10)
Jabez cried out and God changed his status from pain to honour.
3. ENGAGE THE FORCE OF FAITH
a) Faith gives you vision beyond your current location (Hebrews 11:1)
Faith allows you to see your future even when you're stuck in the now.
b) Faith defies limitations (Mark 9:23)
With God, there is no impossibility for those who believe.
c) Faith speaks breakthrough (2 Corinthians 4:13)
What you say in faith determines where you go in life.
d) Faith triggers action (James 2:17)
Faith without works is dead—start moving by faith!
Biblical Example: The woman with the issue of blood (Mark 5:25-34)
Her faith pushed her out of 12 years of being stuck into immediate healing.
4. TAKE PROPHETIC ACTION
a) Break your routine and obey divine instructions (John 2:5)
Miracles begin with obedience, even if it doesn’t make sense.
b) Prophetic acts unlock divine shifts (2 Kings 4:3-6)
The widow moved from empty to overflow by following Elisha’s instructions.
c) Stop waiting—start doing (Ecclesiastes 11:4)
Don’t wait for perfect conditions; move in obedience.
d) Speak life over your destiny (Proverbs 18:21)
Your words can push you out of limitation or keep you stuck.
Biblical Example: Naaman (2 Kings 5:10-14)
Though proud at first, his action of dipping in the Jordan brought total healing.
5. WALK IN YOUR NEW SEASON BOLDLY
a) Embrace your new beginning (Isaiah 43:18-19)
God is doing a new thing—walk in it with faith.
b) Shake off past disappointments (Philippians 3:13-14)
Don’t let your history hinder your destiny.
c) Stay focused on your assignment (Hebrews 12:1-2)
Keep your eyes on Jesus, not on distractions.
d) Refuse to look back (Genesis 19:26)
Looking back at the past can make you miss your future.
Biblical Example: The lepers who stepped forward (2 Kings 7:3-9)
As they moved, God magnified their steps and brought about victory.
