INTRODUCTION

INTRODUCTION

At the same time, this account highlights the sovereignty of God, for even Judas' betrayal fulfilled prophetic Scripture and ultimately served God's redemptive plan through Christ's sacrifice.

At the same time, the account reveals the grace, patience, and sovereignty of Jesus Christ. Even in betrayal, God's redemptive plan moved forward. Believers today must guard their hearts, remain faithful to Christ, resist temptation, and cultivate sincere devotion. May we learn from Judas' failure and choose a life of wholehearted commitment to our Lord and Saviour.

INTRODUCTION
One of the most important instructions Jesus gave His disciples was the command to watch and pray. This command was given in the Garden of Gethsemane during one of the most critical moments before His crucifixion. As Jesus faced the agony of the cross, He took Peter, James, and John with Him and urged them to remain awake and pray. Instead of watching and praying, the disciples repeatedly fell asleep, failing to recognize the seriousness of the spiritual battle taking place around them.
