BATTLE AGAINST WICKED POWERS TROUBLING MY LIFE AND DESTINY

"When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident."

INTRODUCTION:

There are wicked forces assigned by the enemy to frustrate destinies, hinder progress, and attack the lives of believers. These powers operate through various means, including demonic oppression, ancestral curses, witchcraft manipulation, and household wickedness.

The psalmist in Psalm 27:2-3 speaks of enemies that rise to devour but declares their ultimate downfall. As children of God, we are not helpless against these wicked powers. The Bible equips us with divine weapons to wage war and secure victory over the forces of darkness.

This study will explore how to engage in spiritual warfare and triumph over the wicked powers troubling our lives and destinies.

1. UNDERSTANDING THE OPERATIONS OF WICKED POWERS

Wicked forces operate in various ways to hinder believers.

a) They manipulate destinies and cause delay (Daniel 10:12-13)
The prince of Persia resisted Daniel’s prayers.
b) They attack through dreams and spiritual oppression (Matthew 13:25)
The enemy sows tares while men sleep.
c) They use agents to carry out their evil works (Acts 16:16-18)
A possessed girl troubled Paul and Silas.
d) They cause affliction and torment (Job 2:7)
Satan afflicted Job with boils through an attack.
e) Biblical Example: Pharaoh’s Opposition to Israel (Exodus 5:1-2, Exodus 14:5-9)
Pharaoh resisted their deliverance, but God overthrew him.

2. THE AUTHORITY OF BELIEVERS OVER WICKED POWERS

God has given us power to defeat every satanic force.

a) Believers have dominion over the enemy (Luke 10:19)
We have authority to trample on serpents and scorpions.
b) The name of Jesus is a weapon of victory (Philippians 2:9-11)
At His name, every knee must bow.
c) The Word of God is our sword against the enemy (Ephesians 6:17)
Jesus used it against Satan in the wilderness.
d) The blood of Jesus destroys evil covenants (Revelation 12:11)
We overcome by the blood of the Lamb.
e) Biblical Example: Paul Rebuking the Evil Spirit in the Slave Girl (Acts 16:18)
He commanded the spirit to leave, and she was delivered.

3. ENGAGING IN SPIRITUAL WARFARE AGAINST WICKED POWERS

Victory requires intentional warfare prayers and actions.

a) Prayer and fasting dismantle satanic strongholds (Matthew 17:21)
Some spirits only leave through prayer and fasting.
b) Putting on the whole armour of God (Ephesians 6:11-12)
We must be spiritually equipped for battle.
c) Destroying every demonic altar working against us (Judges 6:25-27)
Gideon destroyed his father’s altar before victory came.
d) Speaking prophetic declarations over our lives (Job 22:28)
We must declare victory and reject evil pronouncements.
e) Biblical Example: Elijah’s Confrontation with the Prophets of Baal (1 Kings 18:36-40)
He destroyed demonic altars and defeated the prophets of Baal.

4. DIVINE PROTECTION AGAINST WICKED POWERS

God has promised to shield His children from evil attacks.

a) No weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17)
The enemy’s plans will not succeed.
b) God is our refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:1-4)
He covers us under His wings.
c) The angels of God encamp around us (Psalm 34:7)
Angelic protection is available to believers.
d) When God is for us, no one can be against us (Romans 8:31)
The enemy’s schemes are powerless before God.
e) Biblical Example: God’s Protection Over Daniel in the Lions’ Den (Daniel 6:16-22)
The lions could not harm him because God preserved him.

5. DESTROYING EVERY CURSE AND COVENANT OF WICKED POWERS

Evil covenants and curses must be broken for total deliverance.

a) Christ has redeemed us from curses (Galatians 3:13-14)
The power of curses is broken through Jesus.
b) Renouncing and breaking evil covenants (2 Corinthians 6:14-17)
We must separate from unholy alliances.
c) Using the blood of Jesus for total deliverance (Colossians 2:14-15)
The blood cancels every legal claim of the enemy.
d) Declaring freedom from ancestral bondage (Nahum 1:9)
The affliction shall not rise a second time.
e) Biblical Example: The Israelites Delivered from Egyptian Bondage (Exodus 12:29-36)
God broke the power of Pharaoh and set His people free.

CONCLUSION:

Wicked powers are real, but the power of God is greater. As believers, we are not defenceless against the attacks of the enemy. Through prayer, fasting, the Word of God, and the blood of Jesus, we can break every satanic oppression and walk in total victory.

No matter how strong the enemy’s opposition may seem, God has assured us of victory. Stand firm in faith, engage in spiritual warfare, and trust in the power of God to deliver you from every wicked power troubling your life and destiny.

PRAYER POINTS:

Every wicked power assigned to trouble my life, be destroyed by fire in Jesus’ name!
I cancel every demonic manipulation working against my destiny!
Lord, let Your angels surround me and my household for divine protection!
By the blood of Jesus, I break every ancestral curse working against me!
Every satanic delay in my life, be uprooted and destroyed!

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:

No power of darkness shall prevail against your destiny!
The fire of God shall consume every wicked force troubling your life!
Every evil conspiracy against you shall be scattered by fire!
You shall walk in total victory over every satanic attack!
The power of God will establish you in greatness and glory!

So shall it be in Jesus’ name! Amen!
