INTRODUCTION:
Divine breakthrough is a supernatural intervention where God removes obstacles, opens doors, and leads His people into victory. It is God stepping into a seemingly impossible situation to bring about a miraculous change. Breakthroughs can be spiritual, financial, marital, or in any other area where barriers exist. This sermon highlights how we can position ourselves for divine breakthroughs and the principles to sustain them.

1. THE NATURE OF DIVINE BREAKTHROUGH

a) Supernatural Intervention:
God’s power breaks through human limitations (Isaiah 43:19).

b) Sudden and Unexpected:
Breakthroughs often come unexpectedly, like the earthquake in Acts 16:26.

c) Total Deliverance:
Divine breakthroughs leave no trace of captivity (Exodus 14:13-14).

d) Accompanied by Restoration:
God restores what the enemy has stolen (Joel 2:25-26).

e) Biblical Example: David named the place Baal-Perazim after God broke through his enemies (2 Samuel 5:20).

2. KEYS TO EXPERIENCING DIVINE BREAKTHROUGH

a) Faith in God:
Faith activates God's power for breakthroughs (Mark 11:22-23).

b) Persistent Prayer:
Breakthroughs often come through consistent prayer (Luke 18:1-8).

c) Obedience to God's Instructions:
Obedience opens the doors for divine intervention (Deuteronomy 28:1-2).

d) Worship and Praise:
Praise brings down God's presence for breakthroughs (Acts 16:25-26).

e) Biblical Example: Jehoshaphat’s army experienced victory through praise (2 Chronicles 20:21-22).

3. BENEFITS OF DIVINE BREAKTHROUGH

a) Freedom from Limitations:
Breakthrough removes barriers and restrictions (Isaiah 45:2).

b) Testimony of God’s Power:
It glorifies God and strengthens our faith (Psalm 126:1-3).

c) Access to Divine Resources:
Breakthroughs often lead to provision and abundance (Isaiah 45:3).

d) Fulfilment of Destiny:
Divine breakthrough propels us into God’s purpose (Jeremiah 29:11).

e) Biblical Example: Peter experienced divine provision and breakthrough after obeying Jesus’ instruction to cast his net (Luke 5:5-7).

4. HINDRANCES TO DIVINE BREAKTHROUGH

a) Unbelief:
Doubt and fear block divine intervention (Hebrews 3:19).

b) Disobedience:
Disobedience to God’s Word hinders His blessings (Deuteronomy 28:15).

c) Negative Confessions:
Speaking contrary to God’s promises limits His work (Proverbs 18:21).

d) Spiritual Laziness:
Lack of prayer and fasting can delay breakthroughs (Matthew 17:21).

e) Biblical Example: The Israelites’ unbelief and rebellion delayed their entrance into the Promised Land (Numbers 14:26-30).

5. HOW TO SUSTAIN DIVINE BREAKTHROUGH

a) Gratitude to God:
Thanksgiving maintains an atmosphere of breakthroughs (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

b) Continual Obedience:
Walking in obedience keeps the doors of breakthrough open (Isaiah 1:19).

c) Building an Altar of Prayer:
Constant prayer sustains God’s intervention (1 Thessalonians 5:17).

d) Dependence on the Holy Spirit:
The Holy Spirit guides and empowers us to sustain breakthroughs (John 14:26).

e) Biblical Example: Daniel’s continuous prayer life sustained his breakthroughs in Babylon (Daniel 6:10).

CONCLUSION:
Divine breakthrough is God's promise for His children. It requires faith, obedience, and persistence. As we align ourselves with God’s Word and trust Him completely, we will see Him move mountains, break barriers, and open doors that no one can shut. Trust in Him for your breakthrough today, and He will glorify His name in your life.

10. Father, glorify Yourself in my life through divine breakthroughs.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:
1. You are breaking through every barrier and limitation in Jesus’ name.

2. Doors of opportunity will open for you in places you least expect.

3. Every delay in your life is turning into divine acceleration.

4. The Lord will make a way for you where there seems to be no way.

5. You will experience restoration of all that the enemy has stolen.

6. Your life will be a testimony of God’s miraculous power.

7. Divine helpers will locate you and bring your breakthrough.

8. Every mountain before you will be levelled by God’s power.

9. The Lord will grant you total and lasting victory.

10. From today, breakthroughs will become your portion in every area of life.
